Here we go. I admit, there's not a whole lot to choose from.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I find myself having to choose between Merlin and Lady of the Lake for my favourite character... Oh, doesn't that just say it all....

Well, I voted for the lady, simply because it IS Miranda who played her And she looked rather cool in that dress ^^

Gah, I never thought this would be such a dilemma! Well, part of it is solved, because this version of Merlin really isn't to my taste - it has nothing to do with the original character (he seems annoyed with everything, not really caring about anything, and uses magic at the drop of a hat. Hm.) Problem is, the Lady of the Lake is even more OOC! Lake or no lake, I can't see her take this approach, really. Not to mention that it doesn't even look like Lady... *weirded out* The fact that Miranda plays her does matter - I watched the movie, ffs! But it's still very awkward. And I don't know half of the other characters - talk about making an impression, huh? Hell, I should go for the pig!

Thing with me is, I preferred this Merlin in a way, because OOC or not, he did smash Jack against a wall, and this deserves some points at least. And Sam Neill was good in the part, though as Lane says, it's very different from his Merlin character. However, he also went and died, and left us to put up with the Jack-sprog for an hour and a half of misery.
Lady of the Lake, on the other hand, whilst Miranda is gorgeous as ever (though the dress, not so much...), is a very annoying villain. Yes, I know this isn't meant to be a sequel, but "I went bad because of pollution" is a very bizarre excuse- after all, surely Camelot was not the only town built on a river? Is she going to go on a rampage of all water-side residences after this? And she didn't really do much, except talk to Rauskaug and Jack, randomly, and then die at the end in a truly pathetic way.
I think I'm going to have to leave it some more, and flip a coin or something, LOL.

I know this isn't meant to be a sequel, but "I went bad because of pollution" is a very bizarre excuse If it's any consolation, it's a very bizarre character/movie. In that respect at least, I realise the Lady hasn't changed - I still can't figure her out here either...

I do too. Silly talking pig or maybe it was all in Jack's head? The poor sorry Jack just wanted a friend to talk too so bad that he imagined the pig was talking to him. When in fact the pig was acctually thinking 'why is this guy talking to me? I don't even like him' Ooh poor Jack even the pig doesn't like you.

Not at all, Libitine- you have friends, Jack does not.
