What would be the absolute best, thinking in terms of what is released in this day in age, would be Mab and company figures such as this McFarlane Jareth figure: www.amazon.com/McFarlane-Toys-Labyrinth-Jareth-Collectible/dp/B071CS33ZP I have one and he looks far better in person, very detailed. McFarlane toys were lovely around the time Merlin originally aired as well. The Sleepy Hollow figures they made are great. It's a shame they didn't make Katrina or Lady Van Tassel. After watching as many Lord of the Rings bonus features as I have over the past week, I have become more and more convinced that Alan Lee had some hand in designing the main hall of Tintagel Castle. It would be so nice to know how much he contributed.

Thank you so much! I'm not overly fond of Funko Pop figures either but it seems that even in dreams I can't escape reality. What would be the absolute best, thinking in terms of what is released in this day in age, would be Mab and company figures such as this McFarlane Jereth figure: www.amazon.com/McFarlane-Toys-Labyrinth-Jareth-Collectible/dp/B071CS33ZP I have one and he looks a lot better in person, very detailed. McFarlane toys were lovely around the time Merlin originally aired as well. The Sleepy Hollow figures they made are great. (Aside from the fact they didn't make Katrina or Lady Van Tassel.) After watching as many Lord of the Rings bonus features as I have over the past week, I have become more and more convinced that Alan Lee had some hand in designing the main hall of Tintagel Castle. It would be so nice to know how much he contributed. *clunk* That was my pants falling down. ughhh, must. not. order. pretty Jareth figure. Although, if I could get a Queen Mab statue that looked like this, I would buy both of them as a pair because of this incredible fanfic: www.fanfiction.net/s/2479488/1/An-Illusion-of-Magic

Jareth is hard to resist. :-) That fanfic is a legend! ♡ One of the first Mab fics I ever read, a forever favourite. Why on earth would they not make Sleepy Hollow figurines of the ladies? I am heavily doting on Mary Van Tassel again. Selling your soul to the devil could hardly be done in a better way. And those dresses... On facebook we -hi Arwen :-D welcome back! Big hug. -are discussing some Sleepy outfits that got auctioned and are wondering what became of them. Let me make my plea here as well: IF ANYONE HAS A PRIVATE COLLECTION/MUSEUM OF MIRANDA GOODIES AND OUTFITS PLEASE OPEN THIS UP TO THE PUBLIC. WE WISH TO VISIT. Also we are going on a Land of Magic excursion to see Mab's stone collection. :-D -I wish.- Suppose we were rich, if you could own one outfit of Miranda's, either by buying it or having it remade, which would it be and what would you do with it? I wish to see all the Alan Lee Merlin 1998 sketches, his work is magical. Is there a way to contact him on social media? Perhaps we can simply ask?

Himiko is an incredible writer. The Jareth figure is worth buying. Much better than the Neca figures that came out years ago. Good question. They did make one of Mary's sister but they didn't pay her any favors: www.amazon.com/Crone-McFarlanes-Sleepy-Hollow/dp/B00002R0ZG The dresses in Sleepy Hollow are incredible. I hope whoever bought them has taken good care of them. I second that about a museum. That's a difficult question. I wouldn't want to hurt an original but I would definitely wear a remade dress, even if only to special events. It never occurred to me that we might contact him on social media. He's always seemed rather private. Even if we could find a mailing address it would be nice. It never hurts to try.

I'm wondering if he's even allowed to release anything he does with old movies. Wouldn't that stuff remain the property of whoever owns the rights to the movie? I'm also extremely cynical about anyone paying attention or wanting to release any artwork "for free", even if they do have the rights to it. Possibly just out of fear what can happen to artwork that is released out of strict copyright guidelines like publishing them in books etc. If he were a DeviantArt artist, I could see it happening, but not anyone "old school". His facebook page does seem legit considering who's in the friends list. I recognize people from the Lord of the Rings bonus DVDs, which is how I first found out about Alan Lee and his work. I had no idea he did work for Merlin too! So cool! The stuff he did for Lord of the Rings was so gorgeous beyond words. INCREDIBLE. I am just floored and amazed by some peoples' ability to create. I feel like a mere talentless mortal when I see stuff like that.

I am all for paying for the artwork. :-D You are right this artwork must belong to the filmmakers. Labyrinth, the Dark Crystal, ... all have artbooks. I wish ours had too.
