Personally, I don't mind the music-people, as long as they're not bad. If they are good (and most people who play in the streets around here are at least decent and refrain from sining - an additional bonus), they add to the admosphere. But religious bands ... they tend to try and carry a "hidden message", aka "Come and be converted".

My favourites are the native american guys playing the panpipes and everything, and the one who does the whole interpretave dancing, being an eagle and the rising sun and so forth They rule

Alas, they don't have them over here. But I once saw a guy who played keyboard, in such an emotional way that it sent shivers down my spine. That was the only time I gave any of them money.

There's also the people who hang around near the top of the hill and play what appear to be (from the brief glances I've taken of them) brightly painted wooden crates. Methinks I may have misunderstood quite what these objects are.

In Manchester there's sometimes this fantastic band that play on gongs and drums and etc, with this guy in the middle who has this twist on breakdancing that's really amazing to watch. It makes such a nice change!

Certainly sounds better than some of the acts we have in town, so many violinists and so forth. You get bored of them so fast you'd rather talk to the charity people

Actually, some of the violinists aren't bad. It's some of the ill-advised people who decide that singing would be a good idea that can sometimes go horribly wrong...
PS:Anyone got any ideas for more Mordred discussion, be it whether we love or hate him, Mab/Mordred, Anyone else/mordred, etc? Then we can have MORE Mordred threads, LOL. So far, all the characters only seem to have one thread each.

The preachers are by far the worst, I really want to talk to them about why it is their religion is based entirely on blood and sacrifice when they say that Paganism is heretical Smell the hypocrisy
(And I think I'll leave all Mordred discussions to everyone else. I have said my piece and for now that is all I have to say)

Anyone else/Mordred? He doesn't have an awful lot of contact with many other people other than his family members - and any other incest couples wouldn't be nearly as pretty.

Argh, Morgan/Frik/Mordred! *dies* Even Arthur/Mordred would be better than that! *shakes head rapidly from side to side*

Arthur/Mordred? Yack! Arthur/Morgan is better than that, but I do agree that Arthur Mordred is better than Frik/Mordred or Frik/Mab
