Hmmm... I have a few. Watching it the first time was a nice one. The discovery of a lot of amazing bands through joining MRAP as a direct result of watching Merlin (Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Helium Vola, Loreena McKennitt, etc.). I'm going to go with "rediscovering it", though- I think I was about 15, and hadn't watched it in 5 years, just started idly flicking back through the shooting script and was like "I should really find this on DVD and watch it again". And so it began...
Favourite school subject?

love that song above...
school project ?(can't remember any) Does a project on university also count? Then I'd pick our theatre performance we did on an ancient Roman speech of Cicero, who defended the governor Lucius Valerius Flaccus of Asia in court against the complaint of malpractice and unjustified enrichment - I was on the counsel for the prosecution and guess what: WE WON! (the audience had to vote like a jury would)
so your favourite condiment for cooking?

*intrudes for a small excited post* "an ancient Roman speech of Cicero, who defended the governor Lucius Valerius Flaccus of Asia in court against the complaint of malpractice and unjustified enrichment " I remember that one! I saw it in secondary school I loved Latin lessons. You are doing Latin at university? That is so strong of you. It isn't an easy course to follow as a higher education. How are you enjoying it?

Hmmmm, favourite condiments... not sure on that one. I collect herbs and spices as if they were Pokemon, without any clear idea on what I will use them with at the time The ones I use the most are probably chives, paprika and basil. The all-purpose curry powder comes in useful, too.

Nah I don't enjoy it much, but it went better for me than Ancient Greek - I just need this stuff, for my main field as a historian are the Classics ;-) himiko do we get a new favourite request?

Excluding characters from games like Skyrim, where they're mostly a blank slate that you make yourself (hugs my Argonian sneak archer Dragonborn), then the below are amongst the contenders for me:
- Veronica Santangelo (Fallout: New Vegas)
- Alice Liddell (Alice: Madness Returns- I like the bizarre comments and somewhat dry wit)
- I'd nominate every character out of the Bioshock series if I could... I suppose Atlas had the most impact on me as a player, trying to give away as little as possible... (seriously, if you haven't played Bioshock, PLAY IT NOW!)
- Sheogorath (Elder Scrolls) - admittedly, from TES series, but one of the actual characters rather than one you make yourself. Not even sure what the accent is, but he's a very fun Madgod.
- Freya (Final Fantasy 9) - my character of choice from FF9, even though she wasn't one of the major playable characters.
- Kefka (FF6) - That laugh...
- Reaver (Fable II, Fable III) - Epic arsehole, murderous pirate-turned murderous businessman with the voice of Stephen Fry. What's not to love.
There's going to be characters I kick myself for missing, but I should probably stop listing now...
Favourite animal?

He he great... I definitely have to try that Alice Game and I love Morrowind.. and I just wished that my Oblivion Version would be in English, so that I could listento Sean Beans voice. So no Diablo II characters, to raise a classic from the dead? I should have asked myself that question, there would have been equally much answers.. but even different ones. Mhhmm why is there no Merlin game with Mab in it?
so the animal question... it would be easier to ask the other way around... what I hate most.
favourite animal: Dinosaurs yup. thats it. any specific? I'd say Velociraptor or Deinonychus ;-) Hey nobody said something about this animal being alive...
Alright lets try to be more specific next time:
favourite species of primates?
