OK, well, since if I'd included Mab on this poll, looking at the current member's list, I know precisely how this would end. If we get more members in the future who have other character preferences, I may do another poll with Mab included.
For now, however, on with the poll.
I'm voting for Mordred. MabMordred pairings pwn all, and he's just sweet!

Well, I chose the character I'm very partial to, at the moment, although I don't really dislike any of the others... I think. Plus, you have Vortigern to thank for my registering to the forum (which reminds me - he doesn't have a thread of his own yet, WTF have you guys been doing??!!!). Yay to that! And I chose him because he's soooo... *fangirl moment of squeeing and drooling and flailing* ...well, V., as in intriguing, charming, with a lot of nerve, just irresistable... - I think I should let someone who's a bit more coherent than I am at this hour explain. *meaningful glance at that particular "someone"* But I shall edit or get back to this at one point. *g* EDIT: I can't believe I haven't mentioned Frik - he might have been intended as comic relief mainly, but Martin Short was really great playing him, so I'll give Frik my vote in spirit.

*pats head* Yes dear. ;)I'd help you by explaining at this point, but alas, you and I don't quite see eye to eye as characters go, other than Mab.
BUTBUT, this is good! We have a point of discussion, even of disagreement! This should prove promising for the possibilities of future posts.

Well, I think it's mainly this character that it's safe to say we have very different opinions on... but yes, it should be a great opportunity for posting ;D
And I wasn't looking at you when I sweetly asked for assistance... *might start to glare though* (gah, when are all the members when you need them?)

*meaningful glance at that particular "someone"* My, my... *who* could you mean by that? Well I was contemplating between Mordred and V for the last hour or so. And eventually… Sorry Mordred *pats* You are very sweet but V is just the most charming devil. *hides* First of all – he is damn hot!!! *drools* And if SOMEONE wishes to mention the fact that he has wrinkles, then shush! It gives him character. *hearts in eyes* And some character it is, might I add. I simply fell in love with it after his "You were saying?" and "Why is it, that I surround myself with a bunch of incompetent fools?" and also… oh crap! I love all his lines! *fangirls* The only thing that annoyed me was that that idiot had a gorgeously hot and powerful woman sitting in his lap, and what did he do?! He began to brag about his fearlessness when all he needed to do was to shut up and… Well, more doing less talking, you know

Ah, indeed, I couldn't have said it better myself! *bows*
Well, yes, I agree, his lines were to die for. And so is he.
And I also wondered what happened to his "I act before I think" philosophy at a certain point. Hmm... It's probably the only reason I would be a bit pissed with this character. Other than that... *ends rant before straying from the main topic*

i voted for Vortigern. yes, i love Mordred, but Vortigern has that extra special something. plus he got further with Mab than anyone else in the whole movie.

*SQUEEEEEEE!*
LOL, it's the second time you made me squee, Libitine!
Well, it seems to me that this poll has turned into the favourite Mab pairing, judging from some of the arguments used. *snigger*
And if I'm to be completely honest, and keep my objectivity, this would be one hell of a hard choice! For one thing, everybody did an amazing job! Jason Done made Mordred deliciously evil; Rutger Hauer was able to give so much depth to his character in just one scene and be generally charming overall; then there's Martin Short, who pulled so many faces throughout the movie and built such a colourful and funny character etc.
Oh, this can really be a difficult choice (in this case, however, it only serves to show just how great a movie this is).

Oh, true. If it was a question of the quality of acting, especially, I'd have to give points to most of the characters up there- even Merlin and Vortigern, LOL. I didn't think so much of Nimue, but I guess she wasn't given much character development to work with.
As far as Mab pairings go, psh, MabMordred pwns MabVortigern to hell and back. It even has it's own "Absolutely Delicious" catchphrase, LOL.

Hmmmm... MabVortigern catchphrases... "You're a brave man, but soo STUPID!" LOL, sorry, couldn't resist.

Well, to me MV pairings work best, for whatever reason, maybe because they’re both such strong characters and always seemed to me at the edge of love/hate, somehow. And everything I’ve read about them was rather explosive/intense… As far as MM goes, I think I’ll skip over to that thread. And, yes, that catchphrase-quote is very appropriate, I’ll be the first to admit! *snigger*
