There's a part in Merlin I'm surprised I hadn't noticed before.
In the beginning scene with the Lady of the Lake, Mab turns the rock in her hand, and if you look to her chin you can see her mouth moving as the Lady speaks. I dunno if there was supposed to be a line there ... but I couldn't help but laugh because she looks like she's either chewing gum or mocking the Lady as she speaks. xD
Anyone else see this?

Now that you point that out, it’s going to bug me forever. It looks like she was saying her next line “If I don’t do it...” My guess is that when editing came around the producers needed an extra shot to liven up the Lady of the Lake’s line, so they threw in an extra shot they had of Mab holding the rock and just took out the sound. The shot included her moving jaw, but they probably figured no one would notice (at least until Zocha got to it). ;D Mocking? Possible, and definitely something Mab would do. I don’t think they had chewing gum in Arthurian times, though.

Hmm, I imagine it's probably a bit of bizarre editing. There's a scene at the end of the first half- I think it's been mentioned on here before- where you can tell from the shots of Mab from below that she's wearing a different headdress/headband than the one she's shown wearing in the close-up face shots.
Whether it's because another line was meant to be included originally, however, or merely as Mysteriamoon suggested, I'm not sure.

Yup, it looks like a matter of editing to me...

I'm pretty certain it was bad editing - I apologize, I was being silly when I typed it.

Don't be sorry. It presented a blooper to try and get posted on slipups.com. Without you bringing that up, I never would have noticed.

Ah, indeed, I agree with Mysteriamoon that I probably wouldn’t have noticed. Great spirit of observation there!
