I think our dear aunt Ambrosia also deserves a thread here in this forum. I mean she is next to Frik and Mordred the only one with a good sense of humor in this movie. Nor pagan nor christian - she is just what Merlin needed: a mother with a good heart.
What do you think about her character and Billie Whitelaw portraying her?

I don't like that line as the vision of guts for bootlaces actually gives me a mental picture of intestines.... yeah I'll leave that there. Funny yes, but I don't like her, good Mab I am soooo biased lol Her mutual ground was refreshing and remembers me of me in her attitude of I don't give rats ass if your, Christian, Pagan, Goddess, King. I'm gonna bring this kid up love him and there is damn all any of you can do about it. Obviously it applys to me in a different way Yeah I've never seen her in anything before but she was bloody good.

I like Ambrosia, as you probably already know. Billie Whitelaw did a great job portraying her. Few can stand up to Mab like she did and not loose my respect. Last night I was at a film festival to watch the Dark Crystal. On big screen oh yeah! I am hoping next year there will be Labyrinth, Legend, Merlin, Snow White etc. Anyways I kept looking for links to those films (purple crystal pretty much screams Mab) because I like to entertain myself that way. I do have the Dark Crystal at home, but in the cinema I actually bothered to watch the credits. I was so happy to see Billie Whitelaw's name. She voiced Aughra, one of my favourite characters of the Dark Crystal.

Lol what a resemblance.....
I also have seen her in Quills (2000) which by the way is a fantastic movie... and she much alike Ambrosia there.

Yes - exactly this gorgeous film. She was playing one of the servants I'd say, and she was supposed to blind I believe.. damn I have to watch it again, I forgot the rest beside Michael Caine, Goeffrey Rush and Kate Winslett
