Not sure where to post, but I was wondering what were you scared of as a child and what are you scared of now?
LOL well first of all, all scary films, spiders, creepy crawlies in general, death, being buried alive, and this is one of the funniest........
Johnny Depp in Edward Scissor hands as a child I was bloody terrified of him.

Ugh I actually had to think for a while before I came up with an answer, but what really freaked me out as a kid was that documentary about the Chupacabra (the "Goatsucker") I watched when I was little. It's a sorta alien/unknown animal/vampire thing that sucks the blood out of goats somewhere in Latin America. And it was a serious documentary.
Now, that creeped me out to no end.
Oh, and once I had this dream about this gigantic spider being on my bed while I slept, crawling towards me. That was the single time in my life I woke up with a scream.

Euuuugh that sounds ick, I couldn't watch that.
LOL I couldn't sleep after a dream like that for fear.
Another thing I'm scared of is this dream I had as a kid, and three women one with a twisted upside down nose tried to take me away from my mum. We were standing in the street my mum was on the curb and the three pulled me half way across the road. I kept screaming but no noise came out and my mum just watched me I then got away and ran back to her but there was like a meter gap and then it was like I was running but not moving and I stretched my arms out to grab her but she didn't help me the three women came over and then I woke up before they grabbed me.

I was a little more fearless when I was a kid, to tell you the truth. To be a little more serious, with the progression of my symptoms, everything is worse for me than when I was a kid, including my paranoia (well, hallucinations don't help).
When I was a kid, I had my arachnaphobia. My mom is a horror movie fanatic, so I was watching films like Child's Play and Halloween at the age of five. They never scared me like they do now. I mean, I'm not afraid of the movies themselves, but they haunt my dreams, as if they weren't twisted enough, they need more serial killers.
Now, I'm arachnaphobic (spiders), bathophobic (deep water), selachophobic (sharks), acrophobic (heights), astrophobic (outerspace), trypanophobic (needles), apiphobic (bees and wasps), and aviophobic (flying). I have mini mental anxiety attacks sometimes, and have problems with looking up directly at the sky (I get this weird paraoia attack). I hear things and I see movement, I lock myself in the bathroom until the morning. I refuse to look in a bathroom mirror unless I'm not with someone. I have a fear of serial killers, though I'm just mean to myself because serial killers is probably my most knowledgible area of history. (Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Bozo the Clown. Elizabeth Bathory being my favorite). I know exactly how a murderer could get into my school undetected, I've thought of one hundred ways I could die in an airplane, I can't stand on the edge of even my school's stage, a four foot drop. I have to sleep with my light on not because I'm afraid of the dark, but because I do, honestly, have hallucinations, and it's somewhat easier to distinguish when I can properly see.
I think I covered everything.

lol long list, but we need the posts ;D I used to be scared from my spiders and closed spaces, still am, but other than my main fears I don't scare anymore. Insane as it sounds I used to see in my dreams the things that scared me and then I would torture them. Yeah weird, but I'm not scared just yet. Example: Axe murderer, take axe of him and hammer him with it

hmmmm- Can't say my fears have changed much. Except maybe the fear of a three year old girl who is afraid of shadows of the night creeping through her room ;-) No my long time problems are arachnophobia.. yeah or a little phobia against all insects.. grr too many legs they have... oh yes and injections or taking blood from me - needles just make me cry.. puh and that in my age...

Needles really don't bother me, (probably cos of the tattoo and piercings and being like a human lab rat), spiders though.......................... you can kill them in your dreams and in real life but there's always another one lurking in the corner.

Needles only started bothering me after I got landed in the loony bin. Doctors bother me now too o.O I always expect one to barge into my room at 3:00AM and do who knows what.
