Yes. The whisper voice is gorgeous. It creates both a sense of otherwordliness and loss. I think the most "normal" she ever sounds is when she says "I am not going to lose him". -aaawe- I find her voice does grow raspier-meaner the worse she gets.

Many thanks for the information - thought that I remembered hearing something like that, but couldn't remember the details. Yeah, that line from the trailer could indeed have been an attempt at Mab's voice descending into a raspier whisper as the film goes on. I do like that they decided to keep the whisper sound throughout in the end, it definitely gives it that otherworldly, inhuman sound. If they had kept the more human sounding voice at first, I wonder what the "turning point" would have been where Mab's voice starts to get properly raspy/whispery? When Ambrosia dies and Merlin leaves her perhaps? During/after she convinces Vortigern to sacrifice Nimue?
