Same and I'd have love to see her in red, if it was back when she was in her maiden aspect I may have been able to imagine her in a light green or pale green. Couldn't imagine her in white, orange pink or neon colours though it'd have been funny to see Mab dressed in neon colours.....never mind bad idea *hides from Mab's wrath* haha my thoughts exactly. please no neon colours. >_< I might go blind.
Instead of worrying about burning Romans, I would have grabbed Mab's hem and exclaimed, "What are you wearing?!"

Instead of worrying about burning Romans, I would have grabbed Mab's hem and exclaimed, "What are you wearing?!"*pats head* your very brave saying that to a temperamental fae queen. All though it's a twist in Merlin. Merlin could never conjure fire again. look at Mab or white dresses in the same way again.

t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQNtGixftgmSimgE_fCapcpevpmW98ep9IjzFt_-bUczJe2YT1OtAYou have officially blinded me now. *pats head* your very brave saying that to a temperamental fae queen. All though it's a twist in Merlin.hehehe. Maybe she'd let me live long enough to explain my reaction. "You don't understand. I'm from the future and in the future you only wear purple/blue/black. No would believe you could wear white." And that may be why. Maybe back then they believed it was possible for her to wear white and so it was. Now no one believes its possible anymore. Merlin could never conjure fire again. look at Mab or white dresses in the same way again.haha but nimue was always in white.

You have officially blinded me now. hehe I loved the neon pink version I had.
*pats head* your very brave saying that to a temperamental fae queen. All though it's a twist in Merlin. hehehe. Maybe she'd let me live long enough to explain my reaction. If she was in a really good mood.
"You don't understand. I'm from the future and in the future you only wear purple/blue/black. No would believe you could wear white." Still dont think she'd be very happy Mab seems to be the type of woman you could only dream of telling what to do. Perhaps your best bet is to go in disguise as Idath but even then you could have problems.
And that may be why. Maybe back then they believed it was possible for her to wear white and so it was. Now no one believes its possible anymore. See Mab's previous "bad" was considered "good" and then she was considered "evil"
Merlin could never conjure fire again. look at Mab or white dresses in the same way again. haha but nimue was always in white. We've just unravelled a part of Merlin. After seeing Mab in white Merlin was greatly traumatised when he rejoined his beloved it brought back too many memories of Mab in white so he pretended to not to know the cave would close when he left.
Back on topic - Well this ones kind of confusing but what about Morgan Pendragon? The on from Camelot I mean. From what I see Morgan is perfect yet we have a Morgan in our Merlin but she doesn't seem to do the job like the one in Camelot.

She could dress in white to give him the impression of seelie-ness. Why would she ever do that? For a cunning plan to get a hero at her side. You think Andais would dress in white? No, but I'd love to see that. So why was she wearing white? White is a color that implies purity, was she still her maiden aspect at this point? could be But she didn't seem very pure when she burned those Romans to death.Puddles is white. Is she pure? Could be Mab was in white back then because was playing the part of goodie. In an equally deceitful way as her sister. she's the light to Idath's darkness She is? But she's a queen of Darkness. *confused* it'd have been funny to see Mab dressed in neon colours.....never mind bad idea *hides from Mab's wrath* you'd better hide from my wrath as well No one dresses Mab in neon colours! Instead of worrying about burning Romans, I would have grabbed Mab's hem and exclaimed, "What are you wearing?!"
rofl "You don't understand. I'm from the future and in the future you only wear purple/blue/black." lol Ask her to go back to the future with you We'll show her the film as prove. Maybe back then they believed it was possible for her to wear white and so it was. Now no one believes its possible anymore. very good reason! We know how stunning she looks in black/purple/blue, of course we wouldn't believe her to wear white. It's just damn hard to imagine. See Mab's previous "bad" was considered "good" and then she was considered "evil" so she had to change her wardrobe? so he pretended to not to know the cave would close when he left.yay dump Nimue what about Morgan Pendragon? The on from Camelot I mean. From what I see Morgan is perfect yes she could be A sort of sorting hat would come in handy for choosing Mab's champion. I would suggest following categories: useful, sheep, trouble, lover, kill at once, champion

You think Andais would dress in white? No, but I'd love to see that. maybe that'd be a good way to torture her. heehee if she woke up in a white dress, what would she do? rip it from her body right then and there?

yes she would do it, but she'd have to torture several people to work off her anger about it.

lol definitely. Merry might try to stop her from torturing the innocent so we'll have another chance of Andais/Merry I finally found and bought the dvd of Excalibur *yay* next candidate for Mab: Helen Mirren's Morgana Le Fay. Such thirst for knowledge of dark magic. And her style of clothing!Mab-ish

have not seen it myself, but now I think I will now that it has been mentioned. apparently she is Morgana from Excalibur (1981) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excalibur_(film)and you're right, her fashions are similar to queen mab. Edit: not a very good movie but it has its moments. the relationship between merlin and morgana is kinda cute for a little bit. I just like it when morgana says "then burn me" to Merlin lol it sounds like she is implying much more. They have kinda combined morgan le faye and nimue together from the original myths. nimue was originally a woman who seduces and tricks merlin and seals him into a deep sleep and/or cave.

I like Excalibur for following reasons: Helen Mirren, Cherie Lunghi, their clothes, sex, o fortuna, a crystal cave The film could have been great, imo, if Morgan and Guinevere teamed up. The knights are uninteresting but we are used to that. I call Morgan Nimue for half the time. Must say in her last scene I was afraid she'd fade. On the subject of Excalibur's Merlin: silly helmet, cloak and cane *you can't imagine how hard I laughed*

On the subject of Excalibur's Merlin: silly helmet, cloak and cane *you can't imagine how hard I laughed* Merlin's cloak isn't too bad. Morgana had a forest-like cloak in the marriage scene too. I kinda liked it because it looked like she had picked up part of the forest and was wearing it. I also like the pretty veil Guinevere wore at her wedding. *snatches at sparklies*
I can't decide whether this Merlin's helmet is the worst or our Merlin's helmet. It looks like that helmet would cut into his head. The cane is just stupid.
It looked more like an icicle cave than a crystal cave, but it was ok.
I think I spent most of the movie laughing at the awfulness in general. It gave me even more respect for our Merlin movie.
Did you not sense that Merlin and Morgana could have got-it-on if the filmmakers had wanted to? When I watched them together, I had flashbacks of all our Merlin/Mab fics.
It also made me think about how we really have no scenes with adult-Merlin and Mab standing very close to each other. I think the closest she gets to him is that scene where she tells him Nimue has gone to the cave and maybe the tintagel-mordred-pony-ride. The rest of the time they are very far away from each other and always facing each other. Couldn't they have an argument where they get really close like Mab and Nimue did, and then, someone interrupts and they both turn to look and then you would have a picture of them standing right next to each other but not facing opposite.
I think we have one scene with Merlin and Morgan standing how I would like Merlin and Mab to stand just once. When Mordred throws the knife, afterwards Morgan gets close and turns, then Merlin and Morgan are standing perfectly together in that moment.

I can't decide whether this Merlin's helmet is the worst or our Merlin's helmet. It is a terrible dilemma. I can see wars being fought over this. Both Merlins raise an army. "My helmet's the ugliest!" "No mine is!"
Did you not sense that Merlin and Morgana could have got-it-on if the filmmakers had wanted to? oh yes ;D I most definitely sensed that.

New candidates: dedicated and heroish
Bond, James Bond. Not afraid of killing someone. Always gets his way. Charming none the less. Granted he has no magic powers. He works for someone named M. That's code for Mab!
Spartacus and Crixus for the aggressive approach. Again not afraid of killing. They would make a great team for winning over the people to follow the Old Ways.
