"Dammit, if only we still had magic we might actually make it out of this show alive..." XD
Did everyone else enjoy this? I thought it was pretty good, sad that we didn't get even more Miranda and Sam, naturally, but it was very well put together (as a miniseries, I haven't read the book so I couldn't comment on how faithful it is as an adaptation) and it was a delight to see them on screen together again ^^

I purely enjoyed this... but knowing who the killer is always seems easy when you have Charles Dance in a movie...lol

Haha, that's exactly what my little brother said to me before we watched the last episode XD
You know, I think Charles Dance may get unfairly maligned on this score. I'm pretty sure I've seen him play non-villains at least once... at least I don't remember his character in Alien 3 doing anything particularly evil onscreen (though he was in a maximum security prison facility, so presumably he had done prior to the film taking place XD)

He'll always remain Sardo Numspa for me from The Golden Child xD
And I was really disappointed in Ghost Busters when he didn't turn out to be the evil mastermind. .. so much for typecasting.

I am glad I read the book before watching the film. Charles Dance is indeed such a villain-give-away casting choice. I wish they wouldn't do that. I also wish they hadn't changed his motivation to a more evil one. And of course I would have loved more Miranda and Neill, whose character if I remember correctly had a rather beautiful monologue on that cliff. Otherwise I am very pleased with this adaptation. :-)
