Haha, I know the feeling about time and money. Thankfully my work does pay me, though, despite it's swallowing of my time. We seem to have a bad case of the tumbleweeds around here again

I feel that this is relevant Also... resurrecting the empty forum with tumbleweed blowing around it by posting videos of tumbleweed, we have reached a new point of desperation XD

yaaay bunnies
Maybe we can lure people back with cookies and sweets and oh Queen Mab everyone!
Question: Did we discuss Excalibur already?

Mab shaped cookies and sweets, in a glorious combination? "Excalibur" the film, or the actual sword? Actually, I don't think we've discussed either in much detail, to the best of my knowledge... I own the movie, it's rather good, but I did think that "O Fortuna" was a bit overused on the soundtrack, particularly in bits like when Arthur and co. are riding to see Guinevere in the nunnery and that music is playing in the background, it felt a bit out of place.

Oh yes why not. Both please. Imagine what Mab could have done with this sword. I rewatched Excalibur recently and it occured to me how alike our Merlin it can be. Helen Mirren's Morgana is quite like Helena's eager studenty Morgan with a (growing) smidgen of ambitious Mab. Also I, of course, want her dresses. Fishnetdress Queen Mab, anyone? Merlin has awkward supposedly funny moments like ours has and silly headgear. King Arthur is a puppet, I am sorry, you are. media.cinemasquid.com/blu-ray/titles/excalibur/17028/screenshot-med-34.jpg38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7ups18VWY1rqk17io1_1280.jpgWhat else... oh yes I saw this film called the Countess www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I2XW_IUw3k and I have to say this main character she is exactly what I imagine Nimue to be/act like if she were a vampire. -We have to imagine every Merlin character as a vampire some day, don't we? - best wishes to all of you dear dead people on here.

Morgana's dresses range from the awesome to the awful, IMO, but she does have some gorgeous hair. And yeah, actually, Merlin and silly headgear does seem to go hand in hand, hmmm...
We do appear to have a lot of dead types about- where is everyone else?!

Yep I can see that. Merlin and his silly headgear history should be looked into. I wonder if 'the real' stories say anything about that.
I don't know! I still talk to some of them in private messages on fb, Mab isn't forgotten in those. Perhaps they have to be lured back to this site. I'll try to.
