Could it be like the curse on Arthur? (Reign begins in blood, and ends in blood.) Does this mean that my obsession, as it has begun in bruises, will end in bruises? I don't like the sound of that.

OK....first off....there is no such thing as "no merlin" It just wouldn't be so.
Queen Mab will reign forever in our hearts.
(yes, I'm a major fan-girl)
start in blood, end in blood....eh..."the end justifies the means" is my only response to that.
Plain and simple....let's not even let Merlin die...it's an oldie and goodie and I hope it remains so.

1. I would never have found the perfect evil queen. Yes, I actually had a search going. Yes, I do have weird hobbies. I also have that hobby, but I think "She" aka Ayesha is a better evil queen than Merlin's Queen Mab. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She_(novel)

1) I probably would never have become a major fanfic writer.
I wrote a little Harry Potter before but never felt a burning desire to write a lot because there were already sooo many HP fanfics out there.
However, with Merlin fanfics, every fanfic I write is worth a lot because there is so little material. It encouraged me to write more because I was dying for more because there was so little out there.
Plenty of HP fic to slake the thirst for more, but never enough Merlin fic to even begin to quench the thirst.
2) Though I was always interested in magical things, it gave me an intenser interest in Arthurian tales, real British history, and specifically faery stories.
3) I love magical queens! They're the best kind of ruler!

Let's see, if there was no Merlin...
Well then I would not be having great fic ideas, would I? And I would not be reading or watching all the great fanfics/vids. Or talking to you lot here...
A boring life if you ask me ;D

I wouldn't have got to read everyone's amazing fics. I also love my magickal Queen's particularly the darker ones. best point I wouldn't have got to meet all you fantastic people or have a purple wardrobe, phone, just purple stuff in general.

No Merlin? I don't want to think about that possibility. too ghastly! Truthfully I think I would have been depressed several years ago if it hadn't been for Merlin. I used to stare at this picture of Mab to get me through the day. Anyway,... I haven't been around here for long, but really couldn't do without all of you and the fanfics anymore ;D Merlin led me to several films, cd's and books I completely adore. Without Merlin I would have all this purple stuff in my bedroom -cause I love purple- and no one to link it to. I would not have started making decent fan videos. I would not experiment as much with my hair. I would have less make-up. I would never have kissed a certain page in the more or less restricted section of the library. I wouldn't even have opened the book in question. I would never have gotten my apple or mirror obsession. *pouts* (I would not have found Snow White with Miranda without Merlin.) I would have made a lousy Gollum. I would have been less happy overall. Probably wouldn't allow myself sillyness and childish behaviour when I feel like it. There would not be quite as many drawings in my course notes I would not shout everytime I see Sam Neill in a film or jump up enthousiastically when Miranda appears. And even Frik uh Martin Short, my last visit to Disneyland would have been less perfect without him. Kids might actually like me less. on the bright side *no there isn't a bright side to this!* My brother would dislike me a teensy bit less. Merlin gave me something to rant about after I had seen the Pirates 4 with some friends. *random yes* It gives me something to rant just about every day! And most of all: MAB I suspect there would have been a void in my heart preserved for a beautiful dark, fun, tragic queen who surpasses all other characters I fangirl about. I remember having a vague image of what 'my perfect witch-queen-whatever' should be like before I saw Merlin. And then I found her Without Merlin: I would be asleep now.

I would not shout everytime I see Sam Neill in a film or jump up enthousiastically when Miranda appears. And even Frik uh Martin Short, my last visit to Disneyland would have been less perfect without him. I do that with all Merlin cast. Helena in Harry Potter, Jason in Waterloo, Rutger in The Hitcher which I didn't actually say but my mum did, Martin in A Simple Wish, Sam I dont recall seeing in anything else. Merlin gave me something to rant about after I had seen the Pirates 4 with some friends. *random yes* It gives me something to rant just about every day!I did that at a Kylie concert. And most of all: MAB I suspect there would have been a void in my heart preserved for a beautiful dark, fun, tragic queen who surpasses all other characters I fangirl about. Oh yeah, and I wouldn't have had this reaction over Jurassic Park:
The first appearance of Dr. Grant (Sam) and I was two inches away from the tv screen going, "Merliiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnn!"

I 100% agree with each of these. We're so agreeable ;D That I agree with so very much we could be the same person yay I often have that feeling with you. Luckily we aren't because now we can make fan work for two. I do that with all Merlin cast. Helena in Harry Potter, Jason in Waterloo, Rutger in The Hitcher which I didn't actually say but my mum did, Martin in A Simple Wish, Sam I dont recall seeing in anything else. I am a big fan of Helena and Rutger. Obviously I cheer when they are on screen, but that is different. That's also because of non-Merlin roles. I wouldn't react to all of the Merlin cast though. There is the Mab-procimity to take into account. I have seen Nimue and Sir Boris in another film, recognised them and kept quiet. When the soothsayer appeared in a film I did cheer. I'd probably gag if I ever saw Uther in another film. I did that at a Kylie concert. hihi I know. Just a bit of Merlin similarity can make my day. spellboundinfinity, lol I do the same thing whenever I see Sam Neill. You should see my reaction when he dies on tv.

Luckily we aren't because now we can make fan work for two.Yeah same peoples but we can produce double the work. Im more Helena and Jason. LoL Im like that with all them I saw Isabella on Friend's and was like mum! Nimue is on tv for me really it's not the fact it's them it's because it's an excuse to talk about Mab/Miranda. She/he was in Merlin with Mab/Miranda, have I ever told you about her and ta da the ball is rolling I'd probably gag if I ever saw Uther in another film.Just dont like him huh I think I recognise one of the cast as a guy from Heartbeat but Im not sure. I did that at a Kylie concert. hihi I know. Just a bit of Merlin similarity can make my day.Yeah the front of the stage was the double of Mab's palace though the idea was it was under water but it had the pillars and a purple glow and as an added extra there were big long sheets of purple material at each side. I was half expecting her to walk out dressed as Mab. spellboundinfinity, lol I do the same thing whenever I see Sam Neill. You should see my reaction when he dies on tv. Oh god.
