Any idea what you'd like to be played at your funeral, btw?

I personally think that I'd rather like some merry folk metal played at my funeral. "Korpens Saga" by Finntroll, perhaps- the guests could have a merry jig

Meh... are Finntroll fairly elusive? I can only dl a few of their songs. *grumble*

Ah, they're not that well known. I heard of them because their former vocalist was on some NW songs, and one of the songs off their new album was on a free Metal Hammer CD.

Damn these stupid record shops and their limited metal sections... well, limited anything-apart-from-pop sections come to that.

Ah, I know what you mean. Mind you, our HMV isn't bad for metal, although what stuff they have in is spasmodic at best- you have the major metal bands that most people have heard of, you have the "next big thing", and you have a random collection of other CDs of rarer bands whose presence in the HMV fluctuates.

Grah... our HMV doesn't even have Nightwish in all that often, and I'd consider them to be fairly popular, not to mention made of pure brilliance.

Declaring war is putting the metal section right next to the urban section. The tension if you get members of the different groups, is so great you could play it like a guitar

Ah, yes, have you noticed that when people are looking at music in those sections, they practically press themselves against their side of the aisle, so that no-one will think they are looking at the music from *dum dum dummmmmm* the OTHER SIDE!

Been there, done that, resent the others ~Smites~ But this should move to a music thread surely?
