Ah, yes, a long list would be nice, to take up those long summer mornings.

That is, if the concept of 'morning' is applicable in the summer holidays.

Indeed. Summer mornings are more of a theory than an actual existing time of day.

Actually, I believe they did that to illustrate the idea of "sequel". And they didn't think of removing said parts from this movie, even when they realised there was no possible way for this to be related to the original Merlin.
*sigh* Come to think of it, perhaps they have yet to realise that, seeing as MA is still advertised as a "sequel".

Indeed, it's especially irritating as when most of the people involve are interviewed on the DVD, they pretty much all say "It's not really a sequel". But looking at this in cold, emotionless terms, Merlin was an extremely successful miniseries- at the time it was released, it was, I believe, one of the most successful ever (I could be wrong there, but I remember reading something like that)- Merlin's Apprentice was clearly made on a lesser budget, and not to be a major event like the original was, so how to get more money out of a very average TV film? Advertise it as a sequel to a more successful one.

Indeed, I daresay MA got far more attention from fans of the original than it otherwise would have done.

that is very true! if is was just a stand-alone movieand not a sequel, i would never have watched it. i think it also gets attention because it sucks so bad.

LOL, yes, that too. It appears that the marketing department were the only smart ones involved in the Hallmark-side of the project.
