oooh wow well we have more use for rain here but I hate all weather I like it just to by blank and grey it's so much more pretty that way. Are you thinking of the gay fairies? well yeah there is that but there is also the imagining Merlin to be really small with wings and a tu-tu, fairy stereotype, I mean Mab could get away with it but Merlin?.... "What do you mean real fairies? There's no such thing!" boo hiss lies ! Deary me you must make her watch Merlin to see fairies are real. And I constantly argue with her that real fairies are not 3 inch tall pixies. My tattoo is They are human-sized and ancient and can be very scary. They are not made of Disneyland and pixie dust. Hallmark lol seriously though I did see a fairy catching kit before as in a real one. (wicca shop) ---------- So insane question would that mean Nimue and Merlin were unable to have kids? Biologically yeah? Also again is this to show how vain Nimue is? Like with the burns it bothered her more about her looks? If I was Nimue I'd probably lose it go into tears if I lost my looks but she is supposed to be oh so noble and yeah it wasn't her choice about the youth thing but in the film it's like Nimue is nothing without her looks. Do her lil freak Mab dance again :L well I'm not sure cos just say this had happened would Merlin want to live forever with just her and Frik for comapny. I think Mab may have been able to love again had all this happened. WOuld she grieve I dunno. Would it change her ? I'd bet on it because then Merlin would be the only person to have stood by her and help her succeed. Her son. I though it was perhaps so Morgan could change all those dirty diapers among other things. probably was but she also needed someone to play bad cop. OMFG I'd much rather wake up to find Mab staring down at me ;D ------ I mean Arthur's just laying there. NONE of his men seem to care that their King is dying on the ground. Only Merlin goes to him? Where's the first aid kit? Why didn't they even attempt to save Arthur's life? cos they eventually said he's blonde he isn't the king ? These people dont have much armies is my reply, it's more like they were fighting for there King but when it looked like he wasn't all big and powerful they wouldn't fight for there cause. I think the only really vital stuff in there is your lungs, liver, and heart. God I'm gonna be buried by 40 :L :L ok back on topic. Yeah not even Merlin like tried to fix it it was like try and let it fix itself and if he didn't start doing cart wheels tough luck. I think Mab could have just said go in and be with Nimue or I'll close it but... why again was it Nimue couldn't just walk out with Merlin? I can't remember. But I really think Mab could have played that more to her advantage she had Nimue willing after all. Then Merlin gets locked inside. Mab would be rolling with laughter. lol wouldn't we all ? That would really bite haha. If that did happen I'm sure Mab wouldn't just leave him in there she'd probably visit if just to taunt him. What do you think she'd say? Yup has to be my second opt. she just like screwing with them. She has no possible other angle does she ? I don't think he'd take a hit for Frik. yeah thats what I was meaning lol not that she has used a power like that before it was just my personal impression. but tbh I really don't see her having a wardrobe. I just can't. Why? why? why? I just don't lol Mab is very girly girl but ah I know well I rp Alexandra the shapeshifter she just twirls into new oufits, they don't actually come from anywhere as high fashion as they are they just appear like she thought them up or something. Unique one of a kind never to be worn by another. I don't think she dries herself or uses her magick I think she would have "people" for that. Like lil fairy things or something, I don't know what film or that I'm thinking of but there was a chick and all her lil minion people (may have been vampires or nymphs) would wrap her up and stuff when she came out the lake and brush her hair and all that sort of stuff. And why not air dry or use her magic? Air drying is enjoyable in warm weather. co she is Mab well maybe she did if she felt like it, jeese maybe she just used a towel like a normal person haha I don't really like people touching me. I'd try myself with towels etc. but definitely would not want people doing it for me. Would Mab want people touching her? I'd personally be ok with the having people thing and yeah I think Mab would be to if it was her own kind of course or perhaps not. She knows how beautiful she is and she also knows any human follower of hers would consider it an honor as (in a more likely choice would a fae) because she is there queen. As in she would be more like I'm doing them a favor. (which wouldn't entirely be wrong ) well yes depending on the mood she was in but she doesn't really care more for others pleasure than her own I'm guessing. hahahaha! awww no striptease? yeah perhaps again lol she knows she's a beauty why not show it off? because that could be one of the best gifts she could ever give. Would she enjoy a striptease coming from her partner? MMmm, well probably to either A) enjoy watching how full of themselves they are around her and how eager to please or B) see how nervous they are because they would be so inaccurate next to her, watch them squirm. Mab says that Puddles helped him across the water. She said she helped him across the lake. Merlin had to pass over the lake outside before he entered the caves. Oh well then just ruin my point you big huge pointer ruiner you :L Oh yes I've watched both Lion King movies many, many times. I love the music. lol like me to I love Zira's lullaby. What would Merlin have done if she hadn't disappeared? Find a new plan. What if she couldn't get back to the land of magick but also did not disappear? What happens then? She skips passed them all and says toodles? Tintagel? She has to set up camp somewhere unless she likes being homeless and constantly roaming. Unless you mean she doesn't have enough power to teleport, then I say she can get back there, but she has a long walk ahead of her to reach the enchanted lake and so on. hehe but would Merlin just let her walk away? ( yeah I mean unable to teleport ) Where in the name of Hell were Mab's people. She had creatures of magick who could help her apparently a whole race she was trying to protect not to mention what was left of her followers and not one of them could show up to help her? What's up with that? Yes! Frustrating isn't it?! There was one follower at the beginning, entering stone hedge. Then there were the soothsayers of vortigern, but he killed most of them. Then there's Ambrosia, sort of. I think they are around, but they are scattered and leaderless. Most are just trying not to attract attention. Vortigern was killing everyone and most of the Christians weren't very tolerant of Pagans. Even if they weren't killing them, they were still probably not being very nice and discriminating against them. She was trying to save them, but they were already broken in spirit by too many years of suffering. If she could have gotten a pagan king on the throne that didn't kill people, then they would've had a leader and everything would have fallen into place. The politicians usually choose whichever religion the king is because they want the king to like them and favor them. And the people follow their leaders because that's what they're there for, "to lead." Another thought why didn't she just use her magick to twist the thoughts of the leaders. Uther was hardly sane to begin with and Vortigern was more pig headed.

fairy catching kit before as in a real one. They're not butterflies sheesh. Was it like a net where you could chase the poor things around?
So insane question would that mean Nimue and Merlin were unable to have kids? Biologically yeah? Also again is this to show how vain Nimue is? Like with the burns it bothered her more about her looks? I think it briefly mentioned in the books that Nimue was conscious of the fact that she was being very vain and ridiculous, but couldn't help it anyway. I dunno. I don't see why they couldn't have kids. How many times do you think she and Merlin had sex? Nimue was a Christian. I'm surprised she didn't demand that Merlin marry her. Do you think she was sleeping with Merlin when she was at Avalon? I'm absolutely they slept together in the cave, but any other time I'm not sure. Still for whatever reason Nimue never got pregnant. We are never told that Merlin is incapable of bearing children and I think he wouldn't be because if everything had gone right, then Mab could have continued to have HER descendants on the throne forever. I feel angry towards her, but also sympathetic as well. It's not an easy obstacle to overcome because you know you will be stared at where ever you go. Many times people will ask you what happened to your face as well and that gets old and irritating really fast.
it's like Nimue is nothing without her looks. Many girls feel that way because they aren't talented or smart. So they feel like the only thing they have going for them is their face.
Merlin want to live forever with just her and Frik for company. Wouldn't there be more human-sized faeries around once their power had been restored?
I'd much rather wake up to find Mab staring down at me Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Maybe depends on how she's looking at you, glaring or tempting?
What do you think she'd say? "Are you enjoying your stay in my cave?" "That's what you get for trusting a mortal." "You start being nice to me and maaaybe I'll let you out."
I don't think Mab is very girly girl Yeah I don't see her playing with her clothes like Morgan or anything. But she is a woman and she is RICH so I'd expect her to have a lot of things on principle of being a queen, even if she doesn't play dress-up games.
hehe but would Merlin just let her walk away? Run really fast! But what's he gonna do to stop her? Stick a sword through her? Tie her up? Is she weak enough that they could find ropes that could actually hold her? She made it sound like she was impervious to physical harm even in her weakened state.
Another thought why didn't she just use her magick to twist the thoughts of the leaders. Uther was hardly sane to begin with and Vortigern was more pig headed. Maybe she can't interfere with free will. She can influence them, but if they have very strong personalities, vortigern, or very strong religious convictions, Uther, then its impossible to manipulate them into serving her. And when Uther was mad it would be hard to get him to do anything because he's mad. You can't influence a person who's totally nonsensical.
-- I'm getting all kinds of lovely ideas for fanfics from our discussions, stand by.
Mab says that if they mix Merlin's blood with the mortar of the castle it will stand. Was this really the truth or just a lie to give Vortigern a reason to go after Merlin?
Merlin is left to rot in Vortigern's dungeon. He gets really sick because its cold and damp. But Nimue helps him escape. Would he have died if he had remained there? I think what Mab was trying to do was get Merlin to use his magic to escape the dungeon. But Merlin refused. Do you think Mab was willing to let him die there?
The tear Mab gave to Vortigern. What would it have done? Magical forcefield? Could it really protect Vortigern from Excalibur's power?
Merlin uses the sword to cut the ice open under Vortigern. Does Merlin have any sword skills? Where did he learn them?
If Merlin and Nimue did have a child, what then? The child would be a bastard because it was born out of wedlock? Would it be a girl or boy and how would each gender affect the situation? What would Mab think? What would she do? Would the child have any magic?

Haha lol how funny would it be if you ran about with a MASSIVE butterfly net trying to catch Mab ? :L :L I dunno I never bought it, it was in a lil box thingy. So insane question would that mean Nimue and Merlin were unable to have kids? Biologically yeah? Also again is this to show how vain Nimue is? Like with the burns it bothered her more about her looks? Vain bitch lol ok I'll let it go as I can't insult her without having ago at Morgan. I dunno. I don't see why they couldn't have kids. How many times do you think she and Merlin had sex? Nimue was a Christian. Mmm I dunno, but I was actually more thinking of that he just changed there looks and he didn't exactly give them there youth back. I'm surprised she didn't demand that Merlin marry her. Do you think she was sleeping with Merlin when she was at Avalon? I defo did actually until you said that I never doubted the fact before how strange. I always assumed he would be able to and his human half would have won out on that. I feel angry towards her, but also sympathetic as well. Tbh I think it's the fact that she is on the opposite side of Mab that makes me so cold towards her lol (talk about being biased) had she been on Mab's side I'd probs be soooo sympathetic. it's like Nimue is nothing without her looks. Many girls feel that way because they aren't talented or smart. So they feel like the only thing they have going for them is their face. Yeah I can relate all to well so again as above I think it is a Mab thing either that or because she is supposed to be on the side of "right" so I want her to be 110% selfless as a sort of punishment lol. Merlin want to live forever with just her and Frik for company. Wouldn't there be more human-sized faeries around once their power had been restored? Mmmmm, but wouldn't they be rather like Mab? I'm sure he could have found one friend but you just threw a random thought in my head. Remember I was asking where Mab's other people were? Well what if they were like Puddles and didn't want to be saved or weren't to bothered and quite happy for peace and to move on? (obv not everyone but say like the main ones) though they are probably very proud like Mab. I'd much rather wake up to find Mab staring down at me Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Maybe depends on how she's looking at you, glaring or tempting? I'd prefer tempting but I wouldn't really bother it's always a good thing. ;D What do you think she'd say? "Are you enjoying your stay in my cave?" "That's what you get for trusting a mortal." "You start being nice to me and maaaybe I'll let you out." "Do you like the decor?" ;D I don't think Mab is very girly girl your joking lol pink and purple? ok well no not Morgan like but well yes she does dress like a woman of very rich and fine tastes. hehe but would Merlin just let her walk away? Run really fast! But what's he gonna do to stop her? Stick a sword through her? Tie her up? Is she weak enough that they could find ropes that could actually hold her? She made it sound like she was impervious to physical harm even in her weakened state. Yeah true but what if he physically held her? I actually never really got the impression Mab was that strong tbh. Like her shield was strong and her powers were strong but I dunno because I also don't see her not being able to through a hell of a punch. And yeah I don't think you would have been able to die from like a stab wound or something but at that point it may have caused her pain. Another thought why didn't she just use her magick to twist the thoughts of the leaders. Uther was hardly sane to begin with and Vortigern was more pig headed. Maybe she can't interfere with free will. Interesting thought I think that would have been the case like a Fae thing. She can influence them, but if they have very strong personalities, vortigern, or very strong religious convictions, Uther, then its impossible to manipulate them into serving her. And when Uther was mad it would be hard to get him to do anything because he's mad. You can't influence a person who's totally nonsensical. I beg to- nope sorry I can't honestly finish that sentence. -- I'm getting all kinds of lovely ideas for fanfics from our discussions, stand by. WOOHOO! !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mab says that if they mix Merlin's blood with the mortar of the castle it will stand. Was this really the truth or just a lie to give Vortigern a reason to go after Merlin? I think that could have been true perhaps Fae blood mixing with the land? Then again Mab had no intention of letting Merlin be gutted (I don't know how much blood would have been need but I'm guessing Vortigern wouldn't care if it was a tiny wound or a beheading) so it wouldn't have mattered to her if it was true or not. I think she would leave him to a half second before death and either save him by taking him to her home or giving him one final chance then leaving him. The tear Mab gave to Vortigern. What would it have done? Magical forcefield? Could it really protect Vortigern from Excalibur's power? Possibly but would have protected him from drowning? It may have only protected him from Excalibur for so long. I know she was weak but why didn't Mab fly in to save Vortigern there? Like pull him from the water I know he would have been really pissed at her if she did but wouldn't he then at least owe her even if he didn't like it? Merlin uses the sword to cut the ice open under Vortigern. Does Merlin have any sword skills? Where did he learn them? I'm not sure you don't see that alot but perhaps if he did Frik learned him, I'd assume. If Merlin and Nimue did have a child, what then? Again BETTER Merlin sequeal lmao, ok right only if the kid was a Mab fan ;D The child would be a bastard because it was born out of wedlock? Meh just like Mordred awwwwww. Would it be a girl or boy and how would each gender affect the situation? Probably a boy but I'd hope for a girl for the small chance it would look like Mab (it could happen!) I really do think if they did and Mab was around it would have a Mab phase. Merlin and Nimue are very goody goody people and Mab is sort of dark sort of dangerous sort of fun or as a child would see it a faaaaaabulous way to rebel. But then I'm guessing they would go omg look what I did to my parents return home Mab trys to claim her/him again and we have again a BETTER Merlin SEQUEAL :L pmsl What would Mab think? She would say something like better Merlin S- ok I'll give a rest. I think she would see it as an opportunity. What would she do? Would the child have any magic? Try and influence it like the way she did with Mordred I think and I think it would have magick in it's blood but very very wek magick which only Mab could bring to potential as Merlin would ignore the gift. So I'm on holiday from Monday and wont be back to Friday and can't get on here cos mobile wont allow it So don't let the place die I WILL RETURN TO CONVERSATE ;D

New fanfic! www.fanfiction.net/s/6180867/1/Merlin_Trapped_In_A_Caveoh and please please keep bolding the text your responding to. Its ok for right now, but I could see it becoming really confusing in the future about who's saying what if there's no way to distinguish your text from mine. Or maybe change the color of the text that would definitely work to. -- I defo did actually until you said that I never doubted the fact before how strange. We live in a society where having sex with someone you're not married to is typical. But it didn't use to be that way not too long ago. And I come from a family that believes you really should get married first before sex. Everything else is fine, but no sex until marriage. I tend to agree or at least wish people wouldn't switch partners so often. I feel like that's what creates and helps spread all of the sexual diseases we have today. In particular, kids could at least wait til college, or even better, after college, before they decide to "go all the way" with a partner. Then we might not have all these young single mothers struggling to provide for children by themselves because they don't even know who the father is or where he is. New Questions: coming soon

New fanfic! www.fanfiction.net/s/6180867/1/Merlin_Trapped_ In_A_Cave lol ok I'll try and remember though you should be warned it is strongly known that I have the memory of a goldfish. -- We live in a society where having sex with someone you're not married to is typical. And I come from a family that believes you really should get married first before sex. Everything else is fine, but no sex until marriage. I tend to agree or at least wish people wouldn't switch partners so often.Yeah it's just I dunno, I kinda skipped the time zone out about this part and sort of got caught up on the romance of the film. Plus we should porbably remember Merlin is a wizard and...oh wait no he's the good guy Lol between you and Beyond:.:Word's it's so very clear I wouldn't fit in around where you guys live. I'm so very excluded from the whole no sex before marriage party. Barr anything else I have no intention of marriage ever. New Questions: coming soon agreed I'm just back from a very long drive I'm knackered and need to think of some questions.

You should read that fanfic, it's really good. I don't think Merlin would have a problem having sex before marriage cause he's pagan. But I just assumed Nimue might because not only is she Christian, she's a nun. Nuns and priests have those vows they take that say they can't have sex at all ever. But maybe Nimue never became a nun even though she was choosing to live there. Merlin said something like "Why do you linger here?" Nimue: "To be closer to God." Merlin: "The closer you are to him, the further you are from me." Other than a theological standpoint maybe that meant "please Nimue don't devote yourself utterly and become a nun who won't have sex with me." lol If I meet the right person I'll get married, but I'm in no hurry and I'm not gonna worry about it. Reason why old-fashioned people worry about marriage is because they don't want to be alone when they're really really old. They want a partner to grow old with. ---- New questions: Why was Merlin telling the story of Mab to the children etc.? Was he that desperate for some pocket change? lol Why at the end does he say that's not really what happend!?! AGGHHH! What happened then?!! Why do you think he modified it? He said they wouldn't believe it if he told them how it really was. But that was an incredible story with dragons etc. why would they believe any of that? Why would adding more matter?? So who do you think those priestesses were who were with Mab when she went to visit Vortigern the first time? Were they human or fae or what? So I think when Merlin tried to use magic to hide Nimue's injuries Mab wasn't allowing it. Why was she doing that? To spite him? To use it to convince him to not fight her? The Rock of Ages, The Lady of the Lake what is wrong with these people? Why is Mab the only one who cares about fighting back? Why didn't Merlin ask Nimue to marry him? They wouldn't have had to change their living situation for it? Nimue could have remained at Avalon as much as she wanted etc. but they could have married. Merlin obviously loved her a lot, but never wanted to "dedicate" himself to her in some way. The only thing I could see being the problem would be that Nimue would want to be married under God and Merlin was never interested in the christian God. But still you think she would want to have some neutral kind of handfasting thing vs. no marriage at all whilst having sex. I just think it would be really funny if they had married. Imagine the sarcastic jokes Mab would have had for that. "til death do you part?" Examining Mab's attire: Let's see if I can remember all of the lovely dresses. the "travel" dress with the black corset, whenever she goes a-traveling this is usually what she wears. the land of magic dress, really pretty and lavender colored the warrior queen dress, the one she always wears to see vortigern the blue dress, that one she wears during mordred's childhood the "absolutely delicious" dress, the one we never get to fully see as she stands by the fire with Mordred the "fading" dress, the one she's wearing when she fades The fading dress really just looked like the travel dress, but with her loss of power, her beauty as well as her clothing seemed to be deteriorating. I love love land of magic dress, I just wished it showed more skin. I love the warrior queen dress because that's the outfit that shows the most skin out of any of them. There is no dress that I dislike. Why doesn't she show more skin? Is she conforming to what women of the time wore? None of them were showing skin either. She showed more skin to Vortigern with her warrior queen dress. Why not any of the other dresses? Especially in her own home, why would she care about being completely covered up? hehe this falls back to the complaint of no strip teases, naked time etc. Last thing that's bugging me: Are Guinevere and Lancelot just stupid? Couldn't they be more subtle about their relationship? Its so obvious and out in the open its no wonder everyone knows. It could be Mab's magic at work. She appears behind Guinevere when she first sees Lancelot so its possible. Guinevere did show more control and stamina against Mab's magic than Uther did.

You should read that fanfic, it's really good. have and I love it ever so much. ;D 8-)I Other than a theological standpoint maybe that meant "please Nimue don't devote yourself utterly and become a nun who won't have sex with me." lol haha so what your basically saying even though Mab made him he's still a typical stupid guy lol Reason why old-fashioned people worry about marriage is because they don't want to be alone when they're really really old. They want a partner to grow old with.LOL well as I dont see myself getting old or married Im a all good. ---- New questions: Why was Merlin telling the story of Mab to the children etc.? Was he that desperate for some pocket change? lolAhh! Very, very good question and what he is doing makes a fic I read make perfect sense but states a very odd fact. Why he is doing it is one thing maybe one kid asked and the rest followed or something, but wouldn't him telling those kids of Mab, remember them of Mab ie making her return to power? You can't be forgotten if you're remembered. Why at the end does he say that's not really what happend!?! AGGHHH! What happened then?!! Why do you think he modified it? He said they wouldn't believe it if he told them how it really was. But that was an incredible story with dragons etc. why would they believe any of that? Why would adding more matter??My answer? To give us awesome fanfic opportunities. But also like you say what could get more surreal than dragons and such like? What the real version could be I don't know as I dunno how it could get anymore insane. Plus another thought to consider is that he is telling HIS modified version which would be different from Mab's modified version and the true version what ever they may be. So who do you think those priestesses were who were with Mab when she went to visit Vortigern the first time? Were they human or fae or what?I think fae tbh I dunno why, I just think the humans would be in hicing. Also why weren't they in the rest of the movie? Whoever they were. So I think when Merlin tried to use magic to hide Nimue's injuries Mab wasn't allowing it. Why was she doing that? To spite him? To use it to convince him to not fight her?Mmm, perhaps to piss him off, or to convince him to side with her in return for Nimue getting better. And perhaps a lil personal revenge. The Rock of Ages, The Lady of the Lake what is wrong with these people? Why is Mab the only one who cares about fighting back?
Because where does Mab go? If the Lady stayed in the lake during her sequeal Im quite sure she would have remained a faint ghost in the lake, and the rock is a rock which again is more like a ghost hell maybe he was a guy once but Mab just seems to vanish to nothing maybe cos her element is air? But she seems completely more dedicated not just for herself but for all of them. For her people I think Mab had more to do with the religion than the others plus it's possible the Queen of the Old Ways title was applied specifically to her.
Good question, maybe its more film reasons? Like they thought there was enough drama going on. Other than that it would seem to fit right in with the story. It's the only answer I could think of. I just think it would be really funny if they had married. Imagine the sarcastic jokes Mab would have had for that. "til death do you part?"LoL random image there of Merlin and Nimue getting hitched and Mab sitting pissed up the back pissed out her face making as you say sarcastic comments in a very Evelyn Harper style like from 2 anda half men. You seen lol? Examining Mab's attire: Let's see if I can remember all of the lovely dresses.
the "travel" dress with the black corset, whenever she goes a-traveling this is usually what she wears.
the land of magic dress, really pretty and lavender colored
the warrior queen dress, the one she always wears to see vortigern
the blue dress, that one she wears during mordred's childhood
the "absolutely delicious" dress, the one we never get to fully see as she stands by the fire with Mordred
the "fading" dress, the one she's wearing when she fades
(necessary so I don't get confused ) Yeah think it was but like a grey version lol, you can see the loss of power, as for the beauty? yeah her hair is grey her dress is grey and yeah her make up is grey but I have to say if I get to pick I want to still look as stunning as she did while dying as well as her clothing seemed to be deteriorating.Oh lemme guess, and if she hadn't vanished so quickly we would have seen the dress going first? ;D Land of MagickAh yes it is very pretty and it does cling to her beautifully I love the warrior queen dress because that's the outfit that shows the most skin out of any of them.My favourite dress and the more I think of it, that is probabaly why. There is no dress that I dislike.Yep I think quoting you here is all I need to do. Why doesn't she show more skin? Is she conforming to what women of the time wore? None of them were showing skin either.Mmmm, I don't quite understand it either but what I will say is Mab isn't just a typical woman is she? So why should she be all covered up like the rest of them, I mean she is a bit of a whore, (well especially in the fics we have her in), then again, random thought, well it wasn't like she could be took seriously and start a war while looking like a slapper. *notetoself: it is Mab she probably could* The true question is would it have killed her to show a lil more skin? No bloody well wouldn't have She showed more skin to Vortigern with her warrior queen dress. Why not any of the other dresses?Cos she had an uber huge crush on him and- that's not the answer isn't it not? Again all I would be able to think of is that her keeping reasonably (too) covered up would be like the same reason a guy wears a suit for a meeting and doesn't show a lot of skin. Especially in her own home, why would she care about being completely covered up? hehe this falls back to the complaint of no strip teases, naked time etc.*sigh* I'm really sorry to tell you this but I think it would have been a tad inappropriate for her to be skipping about a childrens film naked. Yes I have noticed most of your scenarios end in Mab stripping. Now heres a question, why didn't they let me do her dresses? I would have only needed very little material so budget cuts wouldn't have been a problem Last thing that's bugging me: Are Guinevere and Lancelot just stupid? Is that rhetorical? Couldn't they be more subtle about their relationship? No Its so obvious and out in the open its no wonder everyone knows. It could be Mab's magic at work. She appears behind Guinevere when she first sees Lancelot so its possible. Guinevere did show more control and stamina against Mab's magic than Uther did. Uther was a head case all ready so Mab had more to work with MORE QUESTIONS : Did Mab eat? (lmao yes leave it to me to come up with the randoms) Seriously though I saw Mordred eat, and Morgan, and Frik. Yet Mab seems to just sit when everyones eating like an anorexic at a buffet. Plus she sorta like looks down at them imo as if to say "yeah you suckers need to eat food because you are all pigs" We've got the Mab clothing part now moving down a little, to her feet. I like never see what she wearing on her feet and I have to ask what does a goddess where?

LOL well as I dont see myself getting oldAre you planning on finding the fountain of youth or become a faery? I know what you mean, but let me know if you do find the fountain, I wanna taste. Also why weren't they in the rest of the movie? Whoever they were.I think they were mixed in with the Christians. Even though they were at odds, it still seems like they were living close together anyway. And it wasn't like common Christians or Pagans were going out killing people, that was the rulers and their military doing that. Vortigern was Pagan, but he had Ardente and other Christian lords with him. But most of them did join Uther when they had the chance since he was Christian. In the books, I think Guinevere's family was mentioned as Pagan, but recently converted to Christianity just before Arthur's time. So imagine a village. You know everyone and everyone knows you. Likely your families have lived together for generations. Some of you have heard of this new religion and felt really moved by it and have decided to convert. The people still adhering to the Old Ways think you're crazy, but aren't too worried since they know you and lived with you for a long time. But then the ruler has a passionate interest in one religion or the other. He wants all of his people to conform to his ways because he believes its the right way and he doesn't want anything challenging his power. Some rulers are more tolerant than others. The less tolerant make it a death sentence if you don't convert. And suddenly everyone's at odds. Made worse by the extremists going around trying to spread their intolerance. And I could easily see extremism on both sides. Like real wars, neither side is completely guiltless. Both sides feel very passionately that they are right and everyone else is wrong. Its illogical because its born out of emotion. If the Lady stayed in the lake during her sequeal Im quite sure she would have remained a faint ghost in the lake, and the rock is a rock which again is more like a ghost hell maybe he was a guy once but Mab just seems to vanish to nothing maybe cos her element is air?I don't know about that. It sounded like she was saying that Merlin would be unable to call on her hence forth because she was gonna vanish. Like she vanished and turned into water or something. Mab turned into smoke. Good observation about that and her element. I guess the Fire Lord would have cost too much money so they just left him out, and apparently Idath too. I don't think any of them were ghosts afterward. They vanished and became a part of their element. The Mountain King simply became a mountain that couldn't speak or anything. They fall asleep and cease to exist. Even though they cease to exist, at least their not suffering. They no not anything. No thoughts or consciousness. The sequel you cannot count as part of the story. It's an alternate universe, not a sequel. There's too many things wrong with it to consider it a continuation of the original. Merlin never even thinks of Mab, Frik, Nimue, etc. It's like they never existed. I don't understand why they didn't try to make a proper sequel whether or not they used the original cast. Evelyn Harper style like from 2 and a half men. You seen lol?nope whats it about? Yeah think it was but like a grey version lol, you can see the loss of power, as for the beauty? yeah her hair is grey her dress is grey and yeah her make up is grey but I have to say if I get to pick I want to still look as stunning as she did while dying as well as her clothing seemed to be deteriorating. Oh lemme guess, and if she hadn't vanished so quickly we would have seen the dress going first? ;DYeah that's what I meant. She is still beautiful even then. BHWAHAAA! What a great idea! Damn it Merlin you could have waited a little longer and then we would have seen something orgasm-worthy. The true question is would it have killed her to show a lil more skin? No bloody well wouldn't haveMaybe she thought if she dressed more revealing then they wouldn't have been able to focus on her words because they would be too distracted staring at her. Or she saves that little pleasure for her lovers only. The Wicked Lovely book I told you about earlier. I've just finished the third book of the series and in this book it spoke a lot about the "appeal" of the faery queens. One of the mortal characters goes to see the High Queen of Faerie, the first faery to exist, and she has to hold her "appeal" in check otherwise his brain would turn to mush and he would worship her and make love to her and not have another coherent thought ever again. He even has a charm he wears to protect himself from faery glamour and was still susceptible to the High Queen's "appeal" even though she was doing her best to suppress it because she was interested to hear what he had to say, not turn his brain to mush. Yes I have noticed most of your scenarios end in Mab stripping.Yes and I'm sure you enjoy it. "How to convince your goddess to take her clothes off: A guide to sexual pleasures" by Mordred Pendragon Who decided this was a children's film? It aired on BBC right? Does BBC automatically have some kind of limiter for questionable material? Do they play more mature stuff at night? Now heres a question, why didn't they let me do her dresses? I would have only needed very little material so budget cuts wouldn't have been a problemExactly! Did Mab eat? (lmao yes leave it to me to come up with the randoms) Seriously though I saw Mordred eat, and Morgan, and Frik. Yet Mab seems to just sit when everyones eating like an anorexic at a buffet. Plus she sorta like looks down at them imo as if to say "yeah you suckers need to eat food because you are all pigs"In the books, fae didn't ever eat or sleep or really notice the passage of time. Frik was surprised in one scene where Merlin fell asleep in front of him. I think the scene in the movie of Frik eating at least shows they can eat food and possibly enjoy the taste, but they have no need to do so. Mab might consider it a very human activity and therefore beneath her. She was unconscious for a few days in the books after she created Merlin, but it wasn't the same as being asleep. She was really weak. We've got the Mab clothing part now moving down a little, to her feet. I like never see what she wearing on her feet and I have to ask what does a goddess where? I've been trying to catch a glimpse of her shoes for a long time. The only scene where I get half a glimpse of them is when she is walking down the stairs with Mordred. They look like soft high-healed boots. I think you might be able to see a tad of them in Mordred's childhood scene too. When she first meets Merlin in the land of magic her shoes are visible, but too far away to tell anything about them. Basically you get a half a second chance at them when she's going up and down stairs holding her dress up. There aren't many scenes that stray away from the upper portion of her body. Barefoot would be nice when she's at home. I run around barefoot all the time at home. -- You know what's ironic, Mab tells Vortigern "your pride condemns you" and that is Mab's problem too some of the time. Her pride gets in the way several times in being truthful to people. "I only let her die." Why was Morgan the only one who could see through Uther's disguise? Everyone else was fooled by Merlin's magic, but not Morgan. Examining Merlin and Nimue further: In the scene where Mab gloats in the candlewax to Merlin, Merlin is in Nimue's room. Nimue is asleep on her bed and Merlin is sitting near the window. They are not sharing a bed yet they are in the same chamber. So they are scandalously in the same room at night, but not sleeping together. And it could be there simply wasn't room, it looks like a small bed. So I don't know if they could have sex at Avalon, doesn't look like there was room for it. I think the floor would be distinctly uncomfortable and dirty. It might have been possible at Vortigern's castle since there's more room, but back then she was still attached to her father. So I'm wondering why her father didn't consider it inappropriate that a poor wizard had his hands all over his daughter. So the age old question, do you think Mab killed Morgan or not? Nimue's scars did not reappear after Mab disappeared. So does that mean Mab literally healed Nimue's face? It wasn't just an illusion? ---- I was reading imdb merlin forums today and I found a great idea that I liked. Someone tried to explain why Merlin said "that's not how it really was" at the end. She thought the movie was the true story and that Merlin actually told the children the well-known typical athurian tale where Morgan le fay is the evil sorceress etc. She thought that Merlin actually didn't tell the children at all about Mab so she wouldn't be able to return. Merlin told them the arthurian tale that everyone knows today that doesn't include Mab. So the movie was the real events. And this theory could be supported by the novelisation books too. In the books, it mentions Frik went around telling everyone about morgan, arthur, mordred, lady of the lake etc. for years but never mentioned Mab. That way Mab would be wiped from history and everyone's memories. It doesn't perfectly fit, but I do like the idea. Where Frik says "I noticed you chose to omit certain..." Merlin: "Well that's the way they like. They wouldn't believe me if I told them how it really was." It sounds like Frik was surprised Merlin chose to omit things. And then Merlin says they wouldn't have believed it anyway? gimme a break! Ok I said I liked the idea because it was clever, but it really breaks my heart too. erasing mab from history -------- Random, but fun piece of information: Uranus has a new moon discovered in 2003 that they named "Mab" after Queen Mab from Shakespeare. Another moon right next to Mab is "Miranda". heheheeheh! Here's a map of all of Uranus's moons. And the lovely wikipedia page about moon Mab. I typed in "miranda mab" in google image search and I started getting all these pictures of moon surfaces and I was like "WTF?"

Gah! Didn't noticed you'd replied. ;D Are you planning on finding the fountain of youth or become a faery? Mmmm, gonna have to go with the faery in the name of Mab. I'll give you a bell if I find the fountain though. Vortigern was Pagan, but he had Ardente and other Christian lords with him. Your freaking kidding where was I when this letter was given out But most of them did join Uther when they had the chance since he was Christian. In the books, I think Guinevere's family was mentioned as Pagan, but recently converted to Christianity just before Arthur's time.Well they just suck, nough said. And I could easily see extremism on both sides. Like real wars, neither side is completely guiltless. Both sides feel very passionately that they are right and everyone else is wrong. Its illogical because its born out of emotion.
Would you like me to tell you the main thing I just read of that? Uther is Adolf Hitler ;D Meh in all though I just think they were all weak, I really do. By the sounds of things most converted because of Uther, put myself in there shoes I wouldn't have. I would have stood up for what I believed in. Death sentence? Sure, atleast I won't die a Frik (coward) I don't know about that. No thoughts or consciousness.LoL I love the big mystic reason as to why the lord of fire and Idath weren't in it So in all, Mab is all around us Yeah Charmed and other supernatural shows spring to mind, which makes me wonder if she would still be able to be summoned like if a witch called upon her? (ie better Merlin sequeal) :L Wow ok well tbh I think that sounds like hell, it would be like death without them ever really dying. Cos well that isn't how there kind work, they'd just be stuck in limbo forever. There's too many things wrong with it to consider it a continuation of the original. 1. Mab's not in it. 2. Morgan's not in it. 3. Frik's not in it. 4. Vortigern's not in it. 5. Mordred's not in it. 6. By fuck I'll stoop low, ok Arthur's not in it. 7. Merlin's not properly in it. 8. Jack is in it. 9. MAB ISN'T IN IT WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING GET ON HERE AND READ MY MESSAGE, DAMN YOU ALL! (as an apology to us please make our fics into movies ) tee hee The sequel you cannot count as part of the story. It's an alternate universe, not a sequel. Merlin never even thinks of Mab, Frik, Nimue, etc. It's like they never existed. I don't understand why they didn't try to make a proper sequel whether or not they used the original cast.
Yeah like by sorting the stuff out that's on my list, and we they could show it at a later time so we could have a Mab strip scene nope whats it about?your freaking kidding? Well there's two guys (brothers) one, Charlie, is dead rich for writing jingles and has a Malibu beach house he's a total player always drunk and basically a very lucky guy. The other is Alan, who is very neurotic, and he kinda looks gay he's a total leech who falls in love with women waaaaaaay to easily and he's been staying in Charlie's guest room for the last 7 years since his wife kicked him out. Not so lucky. And his son who is really dumb stays there sometimes equaling the half. Now, I'm gonna copy Evelyn's bit from wiki. She's there mother who is a self obsessed bitch. Charlie and Alan's conceited mother and Jake's grandmother. She expresses a superficial fondness for her sons and grandson, but she rarely lives up to her self-perceived notion of being a devoted and misunderstood matriarch. Her sons and grandson generally return the favor and go out of their way to avoid interacting with her on most occasions. Her wide-ranging sex life is a recurring gag throughout the series. The family frequently refers to her as "the devil" (or, as Charlie put it, "unholy mother of us"), and Charlie has her number on his cell phone under the name "666." Wealthy with a luxurious house, she has been married numerous times and sells real estate. She isn't like Mab but she is the one who would sit at her sons wedding and crack sarcastic demeaning jokes about him and his wife :L It's a good comedy. Check it out - www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bQE_Jx-_Ds&feature=related She is still beautiful even then. BHWAHAAA! What a great idea! Damn it Merlin you could have waited a little longer and then we would have seen something orgasm-worthy.Hehe, a stunner even in death it takes skill. Yeah you tell em, seriously though. Would it have killed him to wait just two tiny secs Maybe she thought if she dressed more revealing then they wouldn't have been able to focus on her words because they would be too distracted staring at her. Or she saves that little pleasure for her lovers only.Dear are you confusing the entire cast of Merlin with us again? :L And you have an odd obsession with her lovers to I'm guessing it dates back to reminding you of her doing a strip tease? The Wicked Lovely book I told you about earlier. I've just finished the third book of the series and in this book it spoke a lot about the "appeal" of the faery queens. One of the mortal characters goes to see the High Queen of Faerie, the first faery to exist, and she has to hold her "appeal" in check otherwise his brain would turn to mush and he would worship her and make love to her and not have another coherent thought ever again. He even has a charm he wears to protect himself from faery glamor and was still susceptible to the High Queen's "appeal" even though she was doing her best to suppress it because she was interested to hear what he had to say, not turn his brain to mush.
And you have named the faery queen Mab? Yes you have I know you have in fact you have redesigned that whole bloody book so it fits Mab's life. right? :L LOL Yes and I'm sure you enjoy it.As matter of fact I do dear :)javascript:add("%20;)") "How to convince your goddess to take her clothes off: A guide to sexual pleasures" by Mordred PendragonOh come on your kidding? Meh Mordred really is a spoilt son of a- *sees Mab glaring and shuts up* continue hehe Who decided this was a children's film? It aired on BBC right? Does BBC automatically have some kind of limiter for questionable material? Do they play more mature stuff at night? Cos I doubt many would watch stuff that begins with once upon a time, even if he did change his mind Now heres a question, why didn't they let me do her dresses? I would have only needed very little material so budget cuts wouldn't have been a problem Exactly!EXACTLY!!! :L haha In the books, fae didn't ever eat or sleep or really notice the passage of time. Frik was surprised in one scene where Merlin fell asleep in front of him.Sort a like vampires without the blood? Wow they sound like awesome people to be. I think the scene in the movie of Frik eating at least shows they can eat food and possibly enjoy the taste, but they have no need to do so. Mab might consider it a very human activity and therefore beneath her.Ditto more power to Mab I agree with her 100% unfortunately I can't get away with it as well as her *sigh* She was unconscious for a few days in the books after she created Merlin, but it wasn't the same as being asleep. She was really weak.Awwwwwwwwwww, having uber cute Mab moment. (i didn't know this happened either) Poor sweety, I'd more than happily look after her . Again must read the fucking books, this pisses me off at Merlin even more though. Now heres another question, what do you reckon Frik did when Mab was sick? Kick back and watch tv lmao not like she would have known ;D *imagines Frik inviting lady gnomes over for a party* I've been trying to catch a glimpse of her shoes for a long time. The only scene where I get half a glimpse of them is when she is walking down the stairs with Mordred. They look like soft high-healed boots. I think you might be able to see a tad of them in Mordred's childhood scene too.Yeah I seem a small glimpse when she was walking passed Morgan on the stairs. And I can't check anywhere else now cos the yt Merlin has went all flickery When she first meets Merlin in the land of magic her shoes are visible, but too far away to tell anything about them. Basically you get a half a second chance at them when she's going up and down stairs holding her dress up. There aren't many scenes that stray away from the upper portion of her body.
Well I'm putting on my list of demands I want to see Mab's feet. Barefoot would be nice when she's at home. I run around barefoot all the time at home.
Snap me to ! Hehe. And she could like paint her toe nails and wear an ankle bracelet -- You know what's ironic, Mab tells Vortigern "your pride condemns you" and that is Mab's problem too some of the time. Her pride gets in the way several times in being truthful to people. "I only let her die."
Yes agreed I'll let Mab away with it cos she's not stupid and she's Mab :L But I suppose her feelings are like her skin, she should have shown more. Had she have shown Merlin that she could truly feel, he might have been able to sympathize with her. Why was Morgan the only one who could see through Uther's disguise? Everyone else was fooled by Merlin's magic, but not Morgan.Mmmmmm I think it's cos she's a child ? Examining Merlin and Nimue further:In the scene where Mab gloats in the candlewax to Merlin, Merlin is in Nimue's room. I think the floor would be distinctly uncomfortable and dirty.Yes but why else would he possibly want to spend more time with Nimue ? Insane I tell yah. Besides maybe Merlin pulled a Mab and whispered in her ear It might have been possible at Vortigern's castle since there's more room, but back then she was still attached to her father. So I'm wondering why her father didn't consider it inappropriate that a poor wizard had his hands all over his daughter.Cos he to like me didn't like her And we know that there was actually more room back at Vortigern's really for him and Mab So the age old question, do you think Mab killed Morgan or not?Ah, age old indeed. Mmmm, well the film indicates yes, and if you asked any of the actors etc they'd probably say yes. But remember this is done as an adjusted version from Merlin's memorySo I'll once again stand for Mab and say no she didn't Merlin blamed Mab for bloody everything when push came to shove. But if you phrase the question if Mab was really that angry would she have done it? I'd say yes she would. Nimue's scars did not reappear after Mab disappeared. So does that mean Mab literally healed Nimue's face? It wasn't just an illusion?
Ok I'm a lil confused about that question could you explain it a lil more ---- I was reading imdb merlin forums today and I found a great idea that I liked.
Merlin told them the arthurian tale that everyone knows today that doesn't include Mab.So the movie was the real events. And this theory could be supported by the novelisation books too. And then Merlin says they wouldn't have believed it anyway? gimme a break! Ok I said I liked the idea because it was clever, but it really breaks my heart too. erasing mab from history [/B] wow so it wasn't just me that went into a total downer when you said that there wow the really sucks I feel depressed now cos sadly it makes sense. huh, and I thought having her die was bad enough. This is worse than a come down. I'm gonna go ring Frik and get him told to print the books about him and Mab. -------- Random, but fun piece of information: Uranus has a new moon discovered in 2003 that they named "Mab" after Queen Mab from Shakespeare. Another moon right next to Mab is "Miranda". heheheeheh! Here's a map of all of Uranus's moons. And the lovely wikipedia page about moon Mab. I typed in "miranda mab" in google image search and I started getting all these pictures of moon surfaces and I was like "WTF?" very random but VERY cool lol, wow sweet! ------------ it doesn't matter does it? Whether we got a decent sequeal or not? Mab wouldn't never get a happy ending. I think thats actually crap considering it's not like her religion has been forgotten I mean fuck look around. Is everyone christian? NO!

Vortigern was Pagan, but he had Ardente and other Christian lords with him. Your freaking kidding where was I when this letter was given outNimue was Christian. Ardente was her father. Why would he be Pagan? But it also talks more in detail in the books too. The point is that Christian or Pagan didn't matter as long as you were nobility and owned land and swore allegiance to the king. heh Hitler, good analysis. . I would have stood up for what I believed in.One would hope. Hard to say though until you're faced with the situation. Wow ok well tbh I think that sounds like hell, it would be like death without them ever really dying. Cos well that isn't how there kind work, they'd just be stuck in limbo forever.
It doesn't say they're stuck in limbo though. It says they cease to exist. So that probably means they don't exist anywhere, anyhow. Nobody wants to "stop existing" unless they're sick of living. I get the impression the rock guy just wanted to sleep and the lady wasn't much more motivated either. They both were sleeping all the time anyway so why would they care if they continued to exist. Dear are you confusing the entire cast of Merlin with us again? LMAO And you have named the faery queen Mab? Yes you have I know you have in fact you have redesigned that whole bloody book so it fits Mab's life. right? Fuck yes! No, its quite a different story, but still has a lot of details in common or at least I choose to see it that way. ^_^ The High Queen's name is Sorcha, not Mab. But if I could write to the author requesting a change, I would. Ditto more power to Mab I agree with her 100% unfortunately I can't get away with it as well as her *sigh*I know what you mean. It would be nice to always be super thin. Now heres another question, what do you reckon Frik did when Mab was sick? Kick back and watch tv lmao not like she would have knownWell in the book he laid her on her bed and left her there. After that, until she woke up again, I don't know what he did really. Went off and had that party you mentioned? Well I'm putting on my list of demands I want to see Mab's feet."Queen Mab, can I see your feet?" "Sure." Mordred walks by, giggling at the human head Mab is currently standing on. Mmmmmm I think it's cos she's a child ?Is that the only reason? It seems very strange. maybe mab had something to do with it? adjusted version from Merlin's memory*wacks Merlin over the head to adjust his memory one more time* But if you phrase the question if Mab was really that angry would she have done it? I'd say yes she would. yes i agree, but she can't use magic to kill right? at least not directly, so I guess she said the silent "make the steps more slipperly!" spell "Perhaps she just slipped." It sounds like Mab was admitting she cast that spell. Nimue's scars did not reappear after Mab disappeared. So does that mean Mab literally healed Nimue's face? It wasn't just an illusion? I'm talking about after Mab disappeared for good. Nimue's scars did not reappear at all. Merlin saw her again years later as an old woman and there were no scars. it's not like her religion has been forgottenI wonder what she considers her religion? Worship of her? Worship of her alone? Because the pagans I know worship all kinds of different gods, egyptian, roman, celtic, hindu, you name it, they got it. lol And everyone has their own personal set of gods, rules, and way of worshiping. It's not standardized in any way. Plenty of them mix gods from completely different cultures and eras in together. What is Paganism? At best you can say its polytheism, but that's about as far as you can go in describing its vast collection. To me it's a "make your own religion" kit, pick out the gods you like, pick out the rules you like, and you're all set. I didn't post back and LOL at all of it, but your whole post was great.

Not seen you in like six whole days I've been going Mab crazy ;D Nimue was Christian. Ardente was her father. Why would he be Pagan? But it also talks more in detail in the books too. The point is that Christian or Pagan didn't matter as long as you were nobility and owned land and swore allegiance to the king.
Ha! I did not know this. heh Hitler, good analysis. . I would have stood up for what I believed in. One would hope. Hard to say though until you're faced with the situation.hehe lol, yeah I do tend to get in trouble by doing it alot, perhaps its because I love the thought of the challenge you get by warping someones mind to your thoughts. It just seems so,...empty I guess. Having existed then being forgot. But fun fact lol, and I'm sure I've mentioned before I do or maybe did now, share Mab's fear especially when I was lil. Cos in general I would say I'm not scared of death, I'm scared I'll wake up in a coffin or while being cremated, and what happens after you die but most of all I'm scared my entire lil life has been futile. I know it's pathetic and really narcissitic but I don't want to be forgotten either. It's something I have no power over though. LMAOThank you, thank you, I'm here til Monday :L Fuck yes! No, its quite a different story, but still has a lot of details in common or at least I choose to see it that way. ^_^ The High Queen's name is Sorcha, not Mab. But if I could write to the author requesting a change, I would.I knew it tut tut if it were over to you all of the fae queens would be named, Mab, star Mab, tell you parts of Mab's life and all in all star Mab from Merlin. Or maybe this time I'm getting us confused Btw have you read Artemis Fowl? I know what you mean. It would be nice to always be super thin.Yeah it would rock, she's my thinspo Well in the book he laid her on her bed and left her there.Oh wow, see I guess that's why I love that Mab/Frik fic so much. I do like the small possibility that at one point as much as he feared her he cared for her. Even though he would probs have just moved her cos she wouldn't be happy if he didn't. But Mab doesn't seem like the kind that would get pissy over something like that If Mab ever showed the slightest piece of vulnerability I'm guessing it would have been to Frik though not on purpose. I really lurrve Mab/Frik fics that show other sides to there realtionship than hate, fear and anger. (even though there is only one:P) God I wish I could read the books. It would have been cool to show that in the movie, that would have turned the "Mab is pure evil" thing down a notch getting to see her weakened a lil. And as we said earlier yeah Mab is like superly perfect weight wise (along with everything else) so since Frik does NOT seem strong at all I'm guessing he used magick? Like she'd be like carrying air to the likes of Mordred, Merlin or Vortigern. But Frik's like a big whimp :L After that, until she woke up again, I don't know what he did really. Went off and had that party you mentioned?Yeah lol and he invited lots a Lady Gnomes remember And he told them Mab's castle was actually his. Well I'm putting on my list of demands I want to see Mab's feet. "Queen Mab, can I see your feet?" "Sure." Mordred walks by, giggling at the human head Mab is currently standing on.Meh ok, *takes pics* Mmmm not sure I just always assumed, but jumping from the film abit there is the fact in other legends of Merlin, Lady Morgan is seen to be a witch herself. Perhaps by some odd twist of fate Morgan was more intune with Fwik than they first thought? Mab may have noticed and not cared or may have been to busy. I know it's a looooong shot but still just a theory to float around. (plus if they decided lets do a fabulous proper Merlin sequeal that would mean Morgan could also come back with Mab ) adjusted version from Merlin's memory *wacks Merlin over the head to adjust his memory one more time**passes base ball bat* here ya go, try this *glares at Merlin* yes i agree, but she can't use magic to kill right? at least not directly, so I guess she said the silent "make the steps more slipperly!" spell "Perhaps she just slipped." It sounds like Mab was admitting she cast that spell.
Um ok, I think I've missed a lil bit again hehe, why can't she directly kill with magick? Is it a fae thing? I was just going by her chucking fire balls at Merlin. Also there is the or, orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, or she actually did just slip Nimue's scars did not reappear after Mab disappeared. So does that mean Mab literally healed Nimue's face? It wasn't just an illusion? I'm talking about after Mab disappeared for good. Nimue's scars did not reappear at all. Merlin saw her again years later as an old woman and there were no scars.Oh right I got ya, um. ummmm, well if she did yeah, wouldn't that drain her of yet more power? For bugger all. But it seems the only reasonable answer. Why doesn't it reverse though? Her cave thingy ends up falling to pieces yet she gets to keep her face thats not cool. Oh Mab why didn't just kill her and let Morgan and Frik live. I wonder what she considers her religion? Worship of her? Worship of her alone? Because the pagans I know worship all kinds of different gods, egyptian, roman, celtic, hindu, you name it, they got it. lolMmm ok fair point, fair point, but to keep in mind the line between reality and the movie , an awesome sequeal could be made from pagans today it would make total sense. And everyone has their own personal set of gods, rules, and way of worshiping. It's not standardized in any way. Plenty of them mix gods from completely different cultures and eras in together. What is Paganism? At best you can say its polytheism, but that's about as far as you can go in describing its vast collection. To me it's a "make your own religion" kit, pick out the gods you like, pick out the rules you like, and you're all set.As much as I love and live it, it's complicated and has all these other branches but over all yeah you get many gods and goddess BUT I'm gonna cheat here and say she counts for the leader as the whole religion. Screw the rest of them And no I don't care if that isn't bloody true, I say so and that is good enough. HA! Na na nana na! I didn't post back and LOL at all of it, but your whole post was great. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D If Merlin found out the truth, that Puddles was mostly being bitchy and twisting the truth would he have helped Mab, in the very end?

have you read Artemis Fowl?Unfortunately no, but I do know what it is. I wish I could read the books. I wish I could turn them into ebooks for you and everyone else too. I know how to create them, but it can take days to copy an entire book into ebook format and that takes a ton of patience. The only other option would be to buy the ebooks that already exist from official sources. But those usually will have some kind of protection on them to keep them from being shared and I may or may not be able to find a way around it. They don't tell you what data protection they've used so you don't know until after you buy it, clever bastards. The books are out-of-print for goodness sake. Why do they have to be so stingy? turned the "Mab is pure evil" thing down a notch getting to see her weakened a lil. And as we said earlier yeah Mab is like superly perfect weight wise (along with everything else) so since Frik does NOT seem strong at all I'm guessing he used magick? Like she'd be like carrying air to the likes of Mordred, Merlin or Vortigern. But Frik's like a big whimp Hell yes. Yeah I don't think she wouldn't weight much. She's indestructible because she's immortal and her magic, not because her body is made of steel or anything. why can't she directly kill with magick? Is it a fae thing? I was just going by her chucking fire balls at Merlin.I think its a fae thing. Plus, its a great story device. If they could kill then they wouldn't have to waste so much time manipulating humans to do it for them. As for Merlin, there could be several reasons. People can catch fire and not necessarily die of it. Just have awful scaring. Stop, Drop, and Roll, Merlin. Maybe because he wasn't fully human she's allowed to use her magic directly against him. Maybe because at that point Mab had fallen so far the normal rules didn't apply to her anymore. Maybe the special effects team decided aging Nimue and scarring her at the same time was too expensive for them and too cruel to the face of the actor. If Merlin found out the truth, that Puddles was mostly being bitchy and twisting the truth would he have helped Mab, in the very end? mmmmmh, even if he found out his mother and ambrosia were murdered by Puddles herself, I don't think he would have stopped. Mab did scar Nimue and she caused all sorts of conflict with arthur. Merlin had this belief that Mab's time was gone and she just needed to get over it and move on and leave the humans alone. He felt it was time for the new religion to take over. So, from Merlin's point of view, everything would have been great if Mab had just surrendered to what he saw as the inevitable passage of time and change of traditions. I think if puddles had murdered his mother and ambrosia that at that point in his life, he might have yelled at her a bit for it, but he wouldn't have pursued it. He was already past his grief for those two, even nimue i think to some extent. He felt that britiain needed a good king and that the new religion was the one that should get that position because it would be "supposedly" safe from mab's meddling.

Unfortunately no, but I do know what it is.meh me neither I was wondering if you could recommend it lol I wish I could turn them into ebooks for you and everyone else too. This is like crushes my wishes alllll over again hehe, I''d happily buy them but my mother dearest is having credit card probs (understatement and I'm too young to get a card) And it's cos there wide Hell yes. Yeah I don't think she wouldn't weight much. She's indestructible because she's immortal and her magic, not because her body is made of steel or anything.so in shorter words she does what she says on the tin haha. . I think its a fae thing. Plus, its a great story device. If they could kill then they wouldn't have to waste so much time manipulating humans to do it for them.ah now thats a good point that would make the movie much more simpler ;D Mab: Uther *fire ball* Merlin *fire ball* so on and so forth As for Merlin, there could be several reasons.
Ok well the bit at the end was reeeeal cheery there. Didn't you know it's your job in life to tweak the end of Merlin so that Mab lives happily ever after and opens a strip club ? *hits on head with newspaper* bad ! lol Maybe the special effects team decided aging Nimue and scarring her at the same time was too expensive for them and too cruel to the face of the actor.Or maybe Mab actually knocked Merlin into a coma and he thought he saw all of this dum dum dum! mmmmmh, even if he found out his mother and ambrosia were murdered by Puddles herself, I don't think he would have stopped. Mab did scar Nimue and she caused all sorts of conflict with arthur. Merlin had this belief that Mab's time was gone and she just needed to get over it and move on and leave the humans alone. He felt it was time for the new religion to take over. So, from Merlin's point of view, everything would have been great if Mab had just surrendered to what he saw as the inevitable passage of time and change of traditions.Yeah and now all respect for Merlin *vanished* Mab was mother (in a manner of speaking) fuck. As much as she screwed with his life she made him happy (tried) and in short what she asked from her son was to help save her life. And Merlin's own choices were just as cruel for example they made Morgan's life a misery. They sort of equalised on the front of wrongs but he should have been loyal to his people if not her. He must have met more creatures than Frik in the land of magick yet he doesn't give a damn. He chose wrong, and I really don't believe even as much as it is proven or someone tells me, that his interest lay with Briton. He started his vendetta against Mab because of what Puddles said he then pursued and decided what side was right not because he truly saw it in both or either way simply because he wanted Mab to fail. As quoting a fic here " if Arthur was Pagan would Merlin have been so keen to put him on the throne?" no he wouldn't I'd say even though Arthur was supposed to heal the land and be chosen because he was a great king not religion I think this would have changed. After all what did Merlin owe Briton? Ambrosia looked after him and loved him, Nimue loved him, Frik was his friend and in her own royal twistedness Mab loved him too. But inbetween all of that Briton and it's petty squabbles made his life a sheer misery he owed them nothing. 'Everyone who I'd ever loved and ever loved me..' may not be exact Two questions, one, did Merlin regret having forgot Mab? Not enough to go remember her back but enough to feel sorry. Two, did he love Mab it seems an odd question I know but what ever she was they still had a bond. Clearly not a bond that would see him send a mothers day card or give her a hug or Grrr save her life but was he trying to say that a small part of him did? or was the ever loved me on total reserve for Mab?

Or maybe Mab actually knocked Merlin into a coma and he thought he saw all of this dum dum dum!LMAO They sort of equalised on the front of wrongs but he should have been loyal to his people if not her. He must have met more creatures than Frik in the land of magick yet he doesn't give a damn.yeah its bizarre. He seems to feel no connection to any of the fae. As far as feeling connections to pagan humans, that doesn't seem to be there either. Didn't he ever meet any people besides Ambrosia during his childhood? His whole world seems to be Ambrosia and that's it. He met Nimue's group as a young boy in the forest. But then he kissed her. If that's what he does to all passerby's I'm not surprised he's remained isolated. lol He started his vendetta against Mab because of what Puddles said he then pursued and decided what side was right not because he truly saw it in both or either way simply because he wanted Mab to fail. As quoting a fic here " if Arthur was Pagan would Merlin have been so keen to put him on the throne?"Ha I've read that fic! It's a good point, but because its fic, you really can't count it as canon. He didn't start "actively" trying to make her fail until she hurt Nimue. That was the real turning point. Merlin was already miserable in the land of magic because he was homesick. When puddles came along and told him about ambrosia and mother, he was immediately worried, even more homesick, and now had a perfect excuse to never come back. Somehow Puddles seems to have known he was homesick and took advantage of his emotional state. After Ambrosia's death, he swore to never help Mab, but he didn't actually do anything. He just stayed in isolation. He wanted to be left alone. Mab, of course, was so not going to do that so she figured out a way to get him involved with Vortigern thinking Merlin would finally be galvanized into action and use his magic. Merlin defied her again by allowing himself to get thrown in jail and not doing anything about it. Then Nimue came along and Mab finally found the tool to get Merlin to take action. After Nimue was hurt, Merlin started to take action, but in the completely opposite direction Mab had been trying for. A.K.A Yes most of his actions were Revenge. But even if he was totally delusional, he did believe that he was helping Britain. He believed his actions/intentions would make things right, but also admitted he made mistakes -uther, lancelot. Though its extremely difficult to peer around the merlin-lenses. I'm sure everything would look quite different coming from Mab's eyes. You're right, which why it was disguised revenge. Merlin justifying his vengeance as "help" for the people. I think he felt he had the power to do something. It wasn't that he owed them anything, but he had the power to do something. And you know the saying "with great power comes great responsibility". When you think you have the power to do something, it's hard not to try. And you sometimes feel like it is your duty or responsibility since you're the only one capable of accomplishing it. her own royal twistedness I love that. hehehe 'Everyone who I'd ever loved and ever loved me..' may not be exact Two questions, one, did Merlin regret having forgot Mab? Not enough to go remember her back but enough to feel sorry. Here ya go: I was trying to smile, but it was the smile of desolation. Inside I felt only the pity and the terror and the waste of it all. Everyone I ever loved and who ever loved me all gone, all gone now..Hard to say if he ever felt any love for Mab. I think he regretted her destruction, but only because he doesn't have a sadistic personality. He doesn't delight in the destruction of others no matter who they are. Merlin hated her with righteous anger, not anything sadistic. Doesn't mean it was "righteous" but its how he felt about it. Have you read Harry Potter? Bellatrix told Harry about casting the cruciatus curse "You have to mean them boy. Righteous anger won't hurt me for long, you have to enjoy causing pain." When he mentions "pity" he could be thinking "its too bad it had to end this way". And "the waste of it all" I think in the end he understood how futile all the fighting was. The troubles of the world are perpetual no matter who you destroy. I definitely think Mab loved him, but I'm not too sure about Merlin.

LMAOGimme 5 for that awesome idea lol *holds hand up* yeah its bizarre. If that's what he does to all passerby's I'm not surprised he's remained isolated. lolThat would drive me insane. So basically either he hated who he grew up with or he grew up with just Ambrosia for company while kissing random chicks who passed by It's quite confusing in that respect cos I doubt Ambrosia kept him caged. Ha I've read that fic! It's a good point, but because its fic, you really can't count it as canon.hehe it isn't it, I know but I think it's a good point, had Arthur been pagan I'd wager Merlin wouldn't favor. Or another way if Mordred and Arthur were the same people, but switched religions. I doubt he'd stop Mordred. Probably teach him right from wrong, blah, blah, blah. But why didn't he jump in my I cant stand Nimue boat he sucks. Had he just tried a liiil harder he may have enjoyed it Somehow Puddles seems to have known he was homesick and took advantage of his emotional state. After Ambrosia's death, he swore to never help Mab, but he didn't actually do anything. He just stayed in isolation. He wanted to be left alone.Again this goes back to my Puddles is a bitch campaign , she had no reason to interfere. Merlin should have stayed in his box alone. Mab, of course, was so not going to do that so she figured out a way to get him involved with Vortigern thinking Merlin would finally be galvanized into action and use his magic. Merlin defied her again by allowing himself to get thrown in jail and not doing anything about it.Mab really did fool herself with Merlin. But I really can't imagine how much he hated her at that point to willingly let himself become Vortigern's prisoner. I wonder how long he could have played that out had he not been let out. Then Nimue came along and Mab finally found the tool to get Merlin to take action. After Nimue was hurt, Merlin started to take action, but in the completely opposite direction Mab had been trying for.Was Mab's belief in Merlin totally false then? Was there absolutely no hope for him turning back to her? A.K.A Yes most of his actions were Revenge. But even if he was totally delusional, he did believe that he was helping Britain. He believed his actions/intentions would make things right, but also admitted he made mistakes -uther, lancelot. Though its extremely difficult to peer around the merlin-lenses. I'm sure everything would look quite different coming from Mab's eyes.Delusional, back stabbing, unloyal, matricidal- ok and stopping. As his intentions were, so were Mab's. Many eyes many views, obviously we'd be biased in that sense as well. How a neutral would see it though I'm not sure. The film isn't as simple as she's evil he's good though tbh it probably is and I'm over analysing.
So basically Merlin was exactly like Mab but with the bravado that his vengance was helping. And when you think about it did he help? The country was in a case of damned if you pick one religion damned if you pick the other. It was more a case of pick a side and ride with it, it wouldn't make much difference to the outcome I don't think. her own royal twistedness I love that. heheheThank you I'm sure I have quite a few things like that which would suit Mab. I was trying to smile, but it was the smile of desolation. Inside I felt only the pity and the terror and the waste of it all. Everyone I ever loved and who ever loved me all gone, all gone now..Yeah smart ass you would get the whole thing lmao ;D Hard to say if he ever felt any love for Mab. I think he regretted her destruction, but only because he doesn't have a sadistic personality. He doesn't delight in the destruction of others no matter who they are. Merlin hated her with righteous anger, not anything sadistic. Doesn't mean it was "righteous" but its how he felt about it.I know and I feel it a hard question to answer because you have the proof to suggest he wouldn't love her but he never says he doesn't. Like Mab she says I love him but hate him to? Could that also speak for Merlin? Obviously I'd say she loved him much more than he did her if at all. Have you read Harry Potter? Is that a trick question? Bellatrix told Harry about casting the cruciatus curse "You have to mean them boy. Righteous anger won't hurt me for long, you have to enjoy causing pain." When he mentions "pity" he could be thinking "its too bad it had to end this way". And "the waste of it all" I think in the end he understood how futile all the fighting was. The troubles of the world are perpetual no matter who you destroy.hmmm so if it had came down to a bigger evil than Mab and he had to choose that evil or her would he have still chose to let her die? (dont ask where I pulled that from cos I got no idea) I definitely think Mab loved him, but I'm not too sure about Merlin. Yes that's a given the other is one of those things we can speculate on.
