Indeed. By what standards do you define useless? You may well need that information in later life? Like this talk of the brightness of Sam Neill's eyes.

Quite true indeed. One never knows when such knowledge might come in handy.
Job Interview: Interviewer: Sorry, I'm totally off today, I keep thinking about the brightness of Sam Neill's eyes. Interviewee: *smug grin*

Ah, quite- in such a situation, a prior knowledge of such things could prove absolutely crucial at getting that much sought after job- all because you hung round on forums and participated in various forms of geekery.

Is there any official sign of geekery apart form horn-rimmed glasses? I don't like those. We could have jackets made.

Enchanting as your hat is, Joel, I think we should perhaps join a cult that is not named after one of us- one might think that would give the named one an unfair advantage. Not to mention that the beauty of the cult of Joel lies in it's coincidental nature. It cannot be planned.

Alas, it is true. As much as I was enjoying the thought I have to admit it would rather spoil the effect if it was a planned thing

Yeah, it would take away that joy that is felt when a new cult member is spotted in random places, and can be cheered at.
