First off, I would have REFUSED to wear the helmet. Other than that, I guess I would have tried to learn more about my other half. Merlin didn't seem very keen on that. I agree it would probably be hard, if not impossible, to see the greater scheme of things if one is as directely and personally involved and harmed as he is. Yes, he was hurt. Yes, his accusations have a point. But he did not even try and listen to any kind of explanation. And yes, it's bias. Totally so. I think it's because of the hair.

;DAh, truly, the helmet is hated.
I liked Merlin much better in MA- this might be down to the other characters being really pointless, but it might be because he doesn't wear the helmet in that one. *nods sagely*

A tough decision (not the helmet, thats an easy no) You'd be somewhat blinded by vengence and the vows set down, youd be bound to make mistakes...
Ok, your allowed that one

LOL! And yes, I agree with Incapa about him not exploring the other side of his heritage. But yes, it would have been difficult. If only things had worked out differently at the very beginning.

You want someone to blame for that? Ambrosia She was the one who tought Merlin how to be really human. If Mab made any mistake it was leaving Merlin with her, look at the difference in upbringing between him and Mordred. Methinks she learned her lesson there

Then again, the unbiased character would have to say that she learned her lesson a little too well.
Good thing we're not unbiased.

Oh, yeah, Mab definitely cottoned onto that one. Ambrosia was indeed the one who caused Merlin to be as 'moral' as he was - however, I don't know if we can really blame her for that, as Mab did agree to it.
No, I'd say she learned it too well - after all, lavishing all that attention on Mordred only gives her an obsessively lustful nephew to worry about. ^^

And again, we are turning this into a Mab/Mordred discussion.
This pairing really is persistent.

Hey! HEY! ~Ducks~ Ok, if thats how its going to be!
I think I've said this to himiko before. The helmet itself is historically accurate, up to a point, so you cant critisize it for that; but once most of the budget is used up on such a quality cast, what do you expect by way of costumes. Mabs and LotLs were the most elaborate of the lot

*falls flat on face as swipe fails* ...Damn.
Well, it may have been historically accurate, but Merlin could still have avoided wearing it quite so much - if he needed armour that much, he might have bothered to put some on the rest of his body.
Yes, you can't really fault Mab's costumes... apart from the annoying lack of cleavage, as has been whined about constantly over at the MRAP.

Ah, we should lure Rita Oh Yes over here and get her to make more Mab-with-cleavage piccies! And you, Tosca, should draw some more Ah, yes, 'tis a persistant pairing indeed.

Oh, yes... *remembers pic* That was ace. She should be MOBBED if all else fails.
Hmm... maybe I should try a Mab/Mordred pic, as it seems to be so topical.
