Yes, I think Mab is, too.

I'd probably laugh at my mother's death if I'd been brought up like that. ^^ Each to his own, I guess... personally, I am rather fond of this pond scum of which you speak... I concur! He was an ass, but it goes back to the way he was raised. *PLease no one kill me for this remark* but Mab taught him to be that way ... and so he was. Morgan never really raised Mordred, she looked after him and cared for him while Mab was away, but Mab provided things for him, and spoiled him.

LOL, we don't need to kill you for that, tis true. Mab needed a fighter, and had already seen what could go wrong when said protegé has feelings and morals that run away with him, so the obvious answer is to quash them early on. Still, himiko's also right, Mab and Mordred obviously care for each other in their own way.

In their own bizarre way.
We obviously need to take notes from Mordred- he is the only one who gets Mab-huggles!
Oh, yeah, I made a Mordred thread now, so I shall skip merrily over to continue the discussion there.

We seem to have somewhat neglected old Frik's board... anyone else have any thoughts on him?

Yeah, I found that funny. I guess since he only 'met' her once (when she was about 10) and then never saw her again, then meeting up with her when she's about 20 it didn't seem all that wrong to him. Then again, maybe that's just how gnomes work.

Well, with all the twisted relationships - or rather, twisted spins that we put on non-existent relationships - flying about, I think that's one of the more innocent ones, tbh. But yes, it is slightly odd I guess.

Us? Put twisted spins on non-existant relationships? Never. *swiftly hides Mab/Mordred and Mab/Nimue fics behind back*

Noooo! *dives after fics* Not that I in any way support twisted spins on non-existant relationships. Pfft.

*waves flag of twisted spins and non-existant relationships*
Yeah, I think that this relationship was rather innocent, and maybe he didn't see her "new" self as the same person as the Morgan he met as a child. o-O

Yesh, whatever the connotations, I think it was definitely supposed to look sweet and nice and etc... what with the loving ending and all that jazz.

Yeah, he does after all need a reason to turn his back on his mistress from about, oh, what was it - a couple of millenia? - as well.
